I really like this oil. I have fine chin length hair. I put it on my scalp where I want my hair thicker or longer. I leave it on overnight. I wash my hair the next morning and it is not even greasy. This has helped my hair to be thicker and grow more quickly.

Strong, Healthy Oil
I love this oil, despite its puffed rice smell! It has done wonders for my hair in less than a month. I primarily use it around my 4c edges and they are noticeably fuller. This oil can also be used for fuller and thicker eyebrows and lashes, but I haven’t tried yet. I only use it for my scalp and do so every few days. Its texture is similar to JBCO though probably not as thick (and dependent on which JBCO brand.) I also appreciate that it doesn’t leave behind any grease stains on my pillow case

Smells great
I have tried the banana hair stuff before in the form of a topical cream like product. It really helped my hair grow so I wanted to give this oil a try in hopes that it would be less messy. It is definitely less messy and smells worlds better. It has a very pleasant caramel/ butter scent. The oil is also very smooth and easy to apply and distribute. I’ve put it on for a few hours and then washed my hair and found that it didn’t leave my hair as greasy as the other form so it took less washes to get it out. I’ve also tried it during the day after a shower as indicated and I didn’t look terribly greasy either. I did have to move up my wash day (curly hair) because mt hair did need a wash sooner but that wasn’t too bad of a deal. I really like this oil for hair growth and strength

Noticeable Shine and Softness, But Takes Time to See Growth
I’ve been using the Generic 100% Pure Batana Oil for Hair Growth (2 Fl. Oz, Green bottle) for a few weeks now, and overall I’m really pleased with the results. The oil feels rich and nourishing without being overly heavy, and it has definitely helped moisturize both my hair and scalp. My hair feels softer, looks shinier, and seems less prone to breakage since I started applying it a couple of times a week.I appreciate that it’s raw batana oil sourced from Honduras and marketed as therapeutic grade. It has a natural, earthy scent—which might not be for everyone—but it fades after styling. A little goes a long way, so the 2 oz bottle should last a while if you’re using it as a scalp treatment or deep conditioner.As for hair growth, it’s still a bit early to see dramatic changes, but I do notice less shedding and healthier-looking strands overall. The only reason I’m giving four stars instead of five is that the consistency can be a bit thick, so you need to warm it between your hands before applying for easier distribution.Overall, a solid product if you’re looking to boost moisture, improve scalp health, and support stronger hair over time.

Strong smell of coffee
This particular brand of Batana oil has a strong smell of coffee, which I like, and while I’ve only been using it a few weeks, I haven’t noticed any hair growth, rather the opposite. Now it is the beginning of cooler weather/almost fall and my hair sheds every fall and spring, and it could be normal hair shedding but I noticed more after using this and that alarmed me. Just be aware.
