Close shave after a fiddly install
I bought these because my Wahl foil had developed a tiny dent that kept scratching one spot under my chin. Replacing the cutter bar was simple. Getting the purple foil seated evenly took more patience, and one side kept popping up until I pressed directly over the clip.After that, the shaver sounded normal and cut noticeably closer. I used it on two days of growth, which is about the limit for this type of foil shaver anyway, and it cleaned up my neck without the old scratchy feeling. The foil feels thin, so I wouldn’t throw the shaver loose into a toiletry bag.The second set is now tucked away where I hopefully won’t forget it. Installation annoyed me for five minutes, but the shave itself was good.

After using this replacement foil and cutter set for a couple of days now I have to say I’m seriously impressed. Replacing my old off-brand foil and cutter was incredibly easy, and everything fit my shaver perfectly without any modifications.One thing I really appreciated was that they matched the original purple color almost perfectly. Once everything was installed, it looked like it came with the shaver from the factory. Even though this isn’t an original Wahl replacement part, it blends in seamlessly and honestly looks much better than the worn-out foil I had been using.The performance also exceeded my expectations. I used it immediately after installing it, and the blades felt just as sharp as the original ones that came with my shaver. It provided a close, smooth shave without pulling hairs, causing irritation or leaving behind any uneven spots. I couldn’t tell much of a difference compared to the OEM parts.The only downside is that these are aftermarket replacements, so only time will tell how they compare to the originals in terms of long-term durability. Based on my first impressions though they perform extremely well and cost only a fraction of what genuine replacement parts usually sell for.At the moment, I would definitely recommend this item!
