    Concerning Heating Experience

    I was excited to try the Go Brush Pro because the cordless design is convenient and great for touch-ups. It heated up quickly and seemed easy to use at first.Unfortunately, my brush started producing smoke while it was heating up, which was very concerning.     Portable for travel

    This brush is very sleek and small making it easy to take on the go. You will want to fully charge it with the included charging cord (you will need a brick to plug it into) before your first use.It comes with a nice box to hold everything, the brush, 2 hair clips, a comb, charging cord and a small manual. It heats up pretty quickly. In less than 5 minutes it was at temp for my hair. I was impressed with how quickly it heats up for being a wireless device.I could not get the temperature to change from Celsius to Fahrenheit. Followed the instructions in the manual but despite many attempts could not get it to change. Not a huge deal I just let my daughter know to only use it on the lowest setting on her very fine.My daughter and I both have used this on our fine, thin, shoulder length hair. It does straighten and help with frizz. However, if you are expecting typical flat iron looking straight hair, you will be disappointed with this brush. While it does make hair straighter it is definitely not going to get it straight and sleek like a normal flat iron will.It’s at a great price point. I love that it is so portable and easy to bring with you places. It’s also very easy to hold onto to use. No worry about burning your hands because of the design so it’s safe for younger teens to experiment with. Great for touch ups and on the go, but definitely not a comparison to typical flat iron straight hair.

    I confess! I don’t really have short hair. I did for years, though, so I feel like I have experience in that area. lol I currently have long, fine, curly hair, and quite a bit of it. I’ve never tried any straightening appliance on my hair before, and I just couldn’t resist grabbing this Go Brush Pro for Short Hair. I’m literally amazed with my results!This is a cool little brush (no pun intended). I mean that in concept and size. This brush is only 8″ long! It comes with a handy set of tools including two hair clips, a rat tail comb, a short instruction pamphlet, and a charging cable. The brush has a digital display showing the temperature, the battery charge, and when it’s turned off. It heats up quickly thanks to its MCH ceramic heating technology. When turned on, the temperature will automatically boot up to 160C, but it can be set as needed from the brush’s three preset options (160, 180, or 200C). It cools down quite quickly after turning it off. The temperature can be adjusted between Celsius and Fahrenheit, depending on preference. A complete battery charge, from 0-100%, takes 120 to 150 minutes.My hair is extremely fine and curly, which makes it even more prone to frizzing. The only time I’ve had it straightened was in a salon, and that didn’t go well. The stylist would no sooner straighten a section and it would curl back up. I could feel her frustration, so I didn’t have high hopes of succeeding. On my first try, I was amazed at how well this worked! I was dealing with second day hair, and only had products in it from the night before (thermal protection, gel, etc.). I took a small section, ran the brush through it a few times, and it actually worked! I’m still in shock! This has negative ion technology, but despite that I still had some frizz. I don’t blame that on the brush, I’m sure my hair texture and inexperience contributed to the issue. lolOverall, I was pleasantly surprised by this brush and my results, especially since it was my first attempt at straightening my hair! Right now, this is $29.99 on Amazon and I think it’s a great value. It’s small, convenient, easy to use, and it was effective. It’s the perfect size to slip into my purse or luggage, too!

    Works great!

    I love that this is cordless; it makes it so much easier for me to use on both myself and my daughter. It only goes up to 200 degrees Fahrenheit, which is not the best, but that’s fine. The heating plates get hot very quickly and cool down fairly quickly. The casing stays cool enough to touch, so that’s very nice. I have only used it once so far, but I immediately noticed it does have that hot electronics/burning wires sort of smell, but it is not overly strong. I hope that does not happen every time. I have fine hair, so often this sort of hot brush does not work well with my hair, as most are designed for thicker hair (which is great for my daughter). This one worked really well with my hair, though. It doesn’t get hair stick-straight, but that is not really what this sort of tool is designed for. It came with two sectioning clips and a parting comb, too. I feel like this is a great price, and it works surprisingly well.

    Doesn’t work

    I had hopes this would be a good travel companion instead of bringing a regular hair straightener, but it barely works. I wasn’t able to change it to Fahrenheit. And then the “hottest” setting is really only a warm feeling. Barely gets my hair straightened. This would be wasted precious space in my luggage when traveling. Even upon opening the box, it smelled like chemicals too. Maybe this could work on very thin hair, but with my thick strands, this thing just warms the hair & doesn’t even straighten. Disappointed

    The little brush that just couldn’t do it…

    The more portable and wireless a hair accessory is, the better, well at least that’s what we hope for. This brush definitely catches some attention for portability and wireless option, just falls a little short of performance.You do get, the brush, a hair comb, two hair clips, charging cable and manual in the box. It is small and easy to handle for sure. It is also battery powered so definitely wireless. The brush heats up pretty quick as well which was spectacular.Now, performance-wise, we couldn’t get it to change from Celsius to Farenheight no matter what key press combo we tried. No biggie, as we were still able to reach all 3 settings: low, medium and high in Celcius.At the highest setting, it was not hot enough to make any noticeable changes to my daughter’s hair. I tried my younger daughter’s hair as well, a lot shorter and frizzier and still, no noticable change.Overall, it does have some nice pros with portability and rapid heat settings, but fails on performance which is a bit disappointing.

    This is a great way to straighten your hair on the go! I recently took a trip out of town and was able to take this on the plane and do my hair prior to getting off the plane.PROS: 1.) Gentle and quick! 2.) Small, portable and adjustable heat to 200 degrees 3.) Restraighten on the go! 4.) Great value for the priceCONS: 1.) Doesn’t straighten like a typical flat iron, so if that’s what you’re looking for, this will not. 2.) Brush isn’t great for long hair or curly hair. You will still have to round brush and then use this. 3.) Charge doesn’t last long.Overall, I would recommend this as a supplemental straightening brush. It’ll give you a naturally straight look, but not sleek.
