good fit, nice and sharp
I used these to replace the blades on my 14 year old Wahl clippers, which we starting to pull the boys’ hair. (This was actually a second attempt- I tried a different brand first and that was no good- those other replacement blades were about half the heft of the originals and didn’t fit onto the movable blade finger. I almost gave up but I’m glad I tried again as these are great!)They are very similar in weight and size to the original blades. The movable blade fit appropriately on the finger. It came with three pairs of screws with different shaft diameters- look at your clippers to pick the right pair, or else reuse your original screws. One of the three was a perfect fit for my clippers.The blades come with concise but helpful instructions about alignment. (and a picture which makes it a little more confusing. Pay attention to how your current blades are oriented as you take them off, as there are no illustrations on the packaging to help if you get confused there.Once oiled, these started up smoothly and cut cleanly with no tugs. Clippers renewed!

Precise fit.
I had one set of Wahl clippers that I used for years. Then they started clacking loudly and working intermittently. I suspected that the blades had gone bad. I bought new clippers and have used those for years now.I bought these to try to fix the old clippers. They didn’t work. But they fit fine, were new, and thus I could try to figure out where the real problem is. It turns out to be a frayed cord.But this gave me the opportunity to put new blades on my working clippers. The fit has to be exact. These fit exactly.It was easy to unscrew the old blades. I then positioned these. I reached for a screw from the new package. I could not get it to work. I puzzled for a while, because I am dim. Then I looked more closely at the screws and realized that there were two subtly different types. The other type worked just fine.So I have now renewed my working clippers with brand new blades. I expect more years of future use now.

Resuscitated my old Wahl
When the blade of my old Wahl hair clippers started to pull after many years of sporadic use, I wondered whether to just replace the whole clipper unit with a new one. I was expecting new blades to be almost as expensive as a new unit but when I came across this 2 pack (1 was possible) for a decent price I thought I’d give it a go. You need to check compatibility with your model but after that it went well. In my case the blades look slightly (and I mean slightly) different to the originals but they are the same size and fit perfectly, and most importantly they are sharp and cut well. A little bit fiddly to get the 2 parts of the one blade structure aligned when replacing but nothing too tricky. I used the original screws after replacing the blades. Tip: take a close look at (or even a photo of) the blades you will replace and their positioning before removing them. This will help you fine tune the positioning of the replacement blades if necessary.The blades don’t come with oil – a vital requirement to keep blades sharp and functional in any clippers – but I knew that in advance and in any case have some already because of my separate use of pet clippers (a different brand and physical unit just in case you were wondering!).Not sure how long these will stay sharp but have no reason to believe it won’t be a decent amount of time (and I ordered 2 sets inexpensively so….). Working well and seem nicely made.
These new blades fit well in place of the original Wahl blades that have been in there for 24 years. It was still cutting acceptably well when I made the switch. I had never removed the blades and was slightly intimidated thinking it may be hard to get things aligned well but it is pretty basic, and you center the blade over the screw holes. I believe this design of cutter self-sharpens, to a degree. You must keep them oiled to prevent abnormal wear.I have a Wahl model MC2 built in 2000. My mom often cut my hair until I was around 50! She was a beautician back before WWII. I took over the cutting to give Ma a break when I didn’t have enough hair left to really care about how it looked!I found lots of 20-year-old, red hair jammed inside the clipper when I removed the original blades, so it was good to get that out of the internal works.These new blades seem to cut well. Better to rehabilitate what has been working reliably than to buy the junk that is produced today.Update 2/18/25:I soon removed these blades and went back to the originals. The originals cut better. Possibly the new ones have to break in a bit, but I wasn’t waiting.

Perfect Fit for My Wahl Hair Trimmer

All it probably needs are new trimmer blades and a few drops of blade oil. I shopped around to make sure that I found the right set for my older Wahl hair trimmer. These were a perfect fit and all I needed was a phillips head screwdriver and the oil (already had). Before removing your blades (2 of them), either take pictures or if you have good memory, pay close attention to how they are aligned. It really doesn’t take a rocket scientist to change blades, but it will make your job take 30 seconds, rather than 5 minutes, if you put the new ones one, exactly the way the old ones sat, just 2 screws total.The blades come with a package of news screws, which I did not need, but I guess handy for the future, just in case.Again, super easy to install and now my clipper cuts like new.Highly recommend these, not sure why I waited so long.
