Sturdy and cute but tiny?
EDIT: Even though it was much smaller than I expected, I think I just had to learn how to use it properly to make it work. Now I regret giving it 3 stars as it’s one of my favorite go-to’s. Wonderful 100%. It will be tight for very long hair, but I was able to make it work for tail-bone length and it would stay nice and firm all day with no pressure on my scalp. That past tail-bone length hair recently got chopped to mid-back length and this hairpin is still a beautiful creation and my go-to updo tool. Gonna buy more!!!__________________________________________________________________________You know, I read the whole 4.6 inches thing and I guess I didn’t really realize how small that was for a hairpiece because the pictures are 100% photoshopped and not to scale…. it’s like half the size they show in the pictures lol – go grab a ruler.Otherwise, cute and nice looking. It’s a tight squeeze to hold a bun with my hair. My hair is moderate thickness but also long past my tailbone. It’ll probably work for most straight haired people with medium length hair nicely. Just wish it was a bit bigger for the price/practicality 🙂

Absolute beauty! Works super well, I purchased the three prong with diamond shaped cutout. Very active and it stays with a quick adjust here or there but same with any bands or pins. I do have very thick med-long curly hair tho so this may not be ideal for very fine silky hair or shorter cuts unless it’s fastened with something else and just used as decoration

Love these!!
I have mostly straight waist length fine hair, not thin but a lot of it and other than certain hair clips, everything falls out and/or pulls and breaks strands. I’ve been using clips for years and wanted a different look, a little more classy, so I tried the metal hair forks and had to return them, as my hair fell out immediately.I then searched for a wood fork and selected these because they’re the smallest I could find at 4.68″ and more sturdy than the single fork. They do pull on the initial learning curve as you have to weave them in, but once I figured that out by watching videos and trial and error, the hold is perfect. It held all day with no adjustment and slid very very minimally, but not to the point of needing to be readjusted. If they do need to be readjusted I don’t need to redo the bun; just remove and reinsert and it’s set.Also recently did a single French braid, curled it up at my nape and it held solid all day. I’ve worn them hiking as well, and yes, they held. I’m speechless and I love these, I cannot believe how well they hold and would highly recommend.

Great hair forks
These hair forks feel high quality even though they were inexpensive. The wood is smooth and lightweight. They are casual but elegant. They are a good size for my tailbone-length hair. There was definitely a learning curve to get them to hold a bun securely, but now they are a great damage-free option and quick to use.

Classic And Beautiful
These are the perfect hair forks! I wear hair sticks and hair forks every day. I find they are the most gentle option for putting up my waist length hair. I don’t like to fuss with my hair with a bunch of goop, spray, and pins. I like to use one simple thing that I can use quickly and easily without sacrificing a secure hold. These are lovely. I love the longer length. Shorter forks get lost in my bun and I’m constantly redoing them. But there is no length problem with these lovelies. I also love that they are wood. I’ve used other sticks made of plastic, bone, and metal. None hold well. But I always find that wood glides into my hair smoothly and has a gentle natural grip to hold my hair all day without fuss. In addition … these forks are so beautiful! The colors are rich and lovely. And I really love the simple classic lines. Perfect!
