Great texture and volume
I have used this styling powder before and really like it. It’s amazing for giving your hair texture and volume and has a surprising amount of hold. I love how it doesn’t look like you have any product in your hair at all, although it does slightly give you a matte look, but it’s very subtle. The only issue I have with styling powders, and it’s not unique to this brand, is that they can dry your scalp out a little, but it’s not too bad and I think the fact it works so well as a styling product outweighs that for me. I ride a motorbike so I love that this is much more comfortable in my helmet and you don’t suffer from helmet hair at all, which has always been a problem with waxes and texture creams. If you’re looking for something that will give you good volume, or something that will make great texture, but with a subtle matte look then definitely give these a try, they work surprisingly well.

I started using this mainly to get more volume in my hair, and it actually does a good job giving an instant lift at the roots without needing much product. It has a lightweight feel when applied correctly, and I like that it leaves a matte finish instead of any shine or greasy look. When I use a small amount, my hair looks fuller and more textured but still stays soft enough to run my hands through without it feeling stiff. I did notice it can get a little messy during application, and if I overdo it, the texture can turn a bit tacky or sticky instead of natural. The hold lasts pretty well through the day, even in humidity, but I’ve found that less is definitely more with this product to avoid buildup or heaviness. For the price, I think it’s a decent value since it gives salon-like volume in a small amount of product, but it’s not something I’d rely on heavily if you prefer a super clean or ultra-light styling feel.

Good but could be improved
I think this is actually a pretty good deal for a solid product but I have to say I don’t think it’s anything special. Basically it’s a powder that makes it easy to style hair, specifically I would say shorter hair to give it some lift and volume while keeping a matte finish. I think one of the places that could be confusing is that you really don’t need a lot of this. I use just a little bit and I’m able to get a lot of volume and lift out of my hair with it. Also, I quite like using this on wigs, it really gives some extra volume without making the hair sticky and it’s pretty easy to wash out. Where the problem occurs is when one uses too much of it and then it becomes too heavy for the hair. I like this and I think it’s a pretty good deal because it comes in a set of two so I know it’s going to last me a while so overall, I think it’s a solid value. I don’t think it smells particularly good, it’s supposed to be unscented but I do think there is a scent, it’s not bad but it’s definitely not a selling point for me. This is good but not great so I give it four stars.

Great alternative to wax
This powder leaves your hair feeling thicker and more voluminous – adding texture to your hair. You dont need a lot of powder, just tap the “dust” over your head and run your fingers through your hair to your style. Very good for extra root lift
This product is great for giving a little lift at the roots to my short hair, especially when it’s been laid on overnight. It doesn’t have too strong a scent either which is a positive. Easily brushes out although I only apply once between hair washes but doesn’t make my hair feel too heavy or itchy. Very pleased with this product

Interesting, though effective
I was surprised when I first received this item to read that the first ingredient was water , thinking how can that be when this is a powder? However, on the first use, I could clearly feel the dampness of the product even though it was a dry powder. I know that sounds crazy but it’s true. Using this powder, I felt the result was very similar to using a dry shampoo, adding a bit of lift without leaving any noticeable residue. I do not know how or why it works, but I will continue to use this between shampoos. I have not tried it on damp hair or I mean you have to washing so I cannot attest to its effectiveness use that way

Good set of hair styling powder
I like not always having to use wax in my hair and have started using these kinds of hair styling powder for days when i don’t want to have a more chilled hair style. The powder is easy to apply, doesn’t feel heavy or sticky but you feel it does provide a decent level of grip and hold. It’s easy to remove, a quick wash removes it completely. Actually Gives Hair Volume
I got this for my husband and son because both of their hair tends to fall flat pretty quickly. My husband has been using it daily and I use it when styling my 8-year-old son’s hair.
