    Gives me a great close cut and fade control. They’re very sturdy, better than the original guards.

    I use this clipper guard set with my Wahl Ion Pro clippers. The set of 1.5mm and 3.0mm gives me great close cut around my ears and the side back of my head, and allows me to fade to longer lengths towards the top of my head. These guards are made with better plastics and feel more sturdy and durable than the original guards that came with my clippers. The metal fasteners clip securely into clippers and feel like they’ll last much longer than the originals.

    We have three boys in our household, and we use Wahl clipper a lot for their haircut. And these are great replacement to have. It’s super easy to use. They are compatible with our model and quite durable. The fit and material is good. I think these are great value for money.

    For close haircut

    These are well made replacement clipper guards for hair clippers. These are standard size to fit Wahl hair clippers and they fit Ceenwes hair clipper I have. The set comes with one size 1 (3mm) and two size ½ (1.5mm). These are bit pricier than other ones on Amazon but these seem to be well constructed with better plastic materials and the metal locking clips. As the sizes indicate, these are designed for fade and these cut really, really short. They work extremely well providing consistent short length haircut. If you’re not experienced, like me, it’s easy to get uneven hair cut as I learned first hand how difficult it is to do a fade. This is not the fault of the tool but the person handling it. Compared to the clipper guards that came with the clipper, these stay securely put on the clipper and don’t tug on hair. For those needing short haircuts at home, these are very handy addition. Recommended.

    Great guards that come off fast and easy

    I just love these clipper guards for my Wahl. With the metal guard it just helps it go on way easier and to take off. I am always needing this size due to doing my spouse’s haircut. I do use 4 sizes and to be able to get these off quick and easy is always appreciated. They are quality made to last even longer than the all plastic guards. These are great when you just need to change the guards fast. When cutting hair on people who hate haircut this is a great help. I also do my dogs trim the feet beans and inside the ears also, so having a second set of these guards are great to keep for just my dogs. These do the job as well as the original guards, but easier to remove with the metal tab plus they are just made better I think. This is something I use a lot in cutting hair and very much have loved them since the first time I used them. Love my Wahl clippers, but don’t know why these don’t come with this set of guards. The two sizes I get are the ones I use the most anyway. These do about 60% of what I cut on my spouses head and now also my dogs feet and ears. Fits most of my clippers I use, just not the tiny ones for human ears and nose which doesn’t need a guard anyway. Great quality guards for a good price.

    Reliable Replacement Guards That Fit

    I ordered these as replacement guards for a Wahl clipper, but it’s worth noting that they fit our Wahl and Novah clippers with no issues. The sizes were accurate, and they lock in securely with a metal clip. The rounded teeth glide smoothly and don’t scratch the scalp, which is a big plus. The metal clip feels solid and holds well, and the coated finish seems resistant to moisture and buildup. Overall, very happy with the quality for the price.

    Not the Best

    I’ve tried several of these Wahl type guards and some have been good while others like these are not that good. This pack includes 2 half guards and a 1 guard. They do fit, and feel like they’re made from decent quality materials. The issue is that the 1 guard has a very bad rattle, while one of the half guards has a loose metal clasp. The other half guard works well though, which is why the 2 star rating.Value for money on these isn’t quite there. It’s not the cheapest option and 2 of the 3 guards have issues. Maybe I just got a bad pack. Still, I would recommend looking elsewhere for spare guards.

    If you tend to use this size a lot then this is a good pack to get for backups

    3 pack arrives in a zip lock bag.Build quality is definitely not as good as the OEM. But it’s adequate. The metal plate is also cheap looking and the text isn’t visible as it blends in with the metal.Fit’s the Wahl shaver okay.Almost looks like its 3D printed.Good to have as a spare in case the main one breaks or is lost.Good value if you need 3 of these and need back ups.
