    Does the job and can be taken anywhere

    It does exactly what you need it to and without damaging your hairs. It’s also small enough to keep in your pocket so you can comb out any knots that you may have throughout the day. I use it in conjunction with my beard oil by combing and spreading out my beard hairs to get rid of any knots that might get in the way and to allow me to get really deep into the skin to rub in the oil. With the right products, you could probably use this comb to help straighten out your facial hairs if you find them to be really curly but keep in mind a comb alone won’t do the job.Great comb for the price, definitely recommend.

    Great for a Goatee!

    Works great and seems to be good quality. I only have a long goatee so this does the job for me. Just as a bit of scruff conditioner after as shower and then rinse and comb, just like you’d do for the hair in your head.

    This item does the job, is a convenient size, and is well made. If you prefer wood over other materials, such as plastic, this is a good option.My only gripe with this grooming tool is the end of the comb have large flats with no teeth machined in them. I’m sure it adds to the robustness of the comb, a few more teeth, especially on the fine-toothed side would render this a perfect tool.

    Good material and craftsmanship. Light weight and portable. Good tooth spacing for beard and the edges are not sharp so you can put pressure on the come without and pain or discomfort.

    I purchased a variety of beard combs. They are cheap items so I wanted to see how they compared. Since I never knew how people dealt with itchy facial hair before I was excited to find out beard combs were even a thing. This little comb is one of the best. You can’t really go wrong with all of the top brands on amazon when you search beard comb. I attached pictures and the last picture shows the different combs so you can compare. Here are the benefits to this one. Looks wooden, it has a smooth wooden look without added perfumes, dyes or a scent. Smaller size, the size is a little smaller than the other combs. Light, in case you are wanting something with less weight. REAL WOOD, some of the combs are questionable and look like they may use plastic stickers to emulate a wooden look. Plastic pouch, which is more logical in a bathroom, some of the cloth pouches I imagine could get dirty or wet and that may damage them. Overall I like all my combs and will be trying more male grooming products in the future. Note: Every wooden product will have slight differences and be unique in its own way…I’m sure that also means some may have defects or issues, that’s how wood is as a material. Cheers!

    A versatile comb… with some minor issues

    My search for a new beard comb began because I was sick of using a plastic comb that generated tons of static electricity. After some searching, I settled on this comb because of the low price, the wooden construction, and the combination of fine and coarse teeth.On opening the package, I was impressed by the comb’s build quality. Despite the low price, it has a solid feel and does not look flimsy or cheap. According to the item description, it’s made of peach wood which, like many other hardwood fruit trees, has a consistent, straight grain that is great for woodworking. My comb is nicely-sanded and the finish is uniform and smooth. Most importantly, the teeth are straight and evenly-spaced; reviews from some other inexpensive combs mention warped or uneven teeth.On use, I found that the double-sided construction is versatile. The coarse teeth are ideal for my beard and the fine teeth work well for both my moustache and my hair. It also feels gentler on my face and scalp than plastic combs which sometimes have sharp teeth. Overall, I’m pleased with the performance.However, there were a couple of minor issues…Firstly, I noticed that the logo on one side of the comb was level and cleanly- and deeply-inscribed. But, the logo on the other side is tilted and shallowly and poorly-inscribed (see the photos). This is only a cosmetic thing, but it makes my OCD kick in pretty fiercely! :DSecondly, during my first use of the comb, I noticed some slight snagging on the fine-toothed side. An inspection showed a tiny splinter on one of the teeth. One stroke with a detail file and a few swipes with some fine-grained sandpaper fixed that. Now, the comb glides effortlessly.In conclusion, I’m quite impressed by this comb. Its well-built and performs well. For those reasons, it deserves a 5-star rating. Unfortunately, the two minor issues that were present on my comb prevent me from giving it more than 4 stars.
