    Loud, but highly effective, efficient, and fast

    Aside from how loud it is, I love everything about this epilator. It’s small and easy to hold, it works very quickly, one session uses up very little of the battery power, and it’s easy to rinse clean. It’s painful, but so is plucking and waxing/sugaring, and this epilator makes the whole process so much faster. The pain is over within minutes, and it’s far less messy than wax or sugar.I don’t need the other attachments, but I gave them each a try and they work very well. I had no razor burn or pinched skin and they worked just as quickly and efficiently as the epilator head. The little brush is great for sweeping loose hairs from attachments, and the USB-C cable is long enough that I can charge the device while keeping it on my table or desk so that it’s not out of my sight (I try not to leave rechargeable batteries or devices plugged in without directly supervising them as I’ve seen what kind of damage an unattended and unstable lithium battery can do. I also have not and will not use this device in the shower.)The epilator aspect is what I was hoping would work well, and it really does. Just like with waxing, the hair needs to be on the longer side. I had the best success with hair that was about 1/4 inch in length. Unlike with waxing, there’s no prep that needs to be done or products that have to be applied before using the epilator. All I have to do is to make sure that the hair and skin are clean and dry, then turn it on and move it in slow strokes over the area. Underarms are a little tough because of the angles and curves, but I can depilate both armpits in less time than it takes to do the entire waxing process on just one armpit.The very loud and high pitch of the device is the only thing that I dislike about this epilator. I had to put in earplugs when I used the device under my arms because having that squealing sound right next to my head made my ears ring. But since it works so well in every other way, I can’t justify taking off even one star for the noise.

    It shaves, it grinds, it yanks (plucks)

    Amazon invited me to review this. We received an electric epilator that shaves, grinds, and yanks all three–so 3 in 1.It comes with a USBc port and a short USBc to USBa charging cable. It runs at two speeds. It is not immersible, and the instructions say you should use it with your skin clean and dry. The heads only are immersible for cleaning.My wife tried all three functions and they all worked. The shaver worked fine and she did not scrape herself. The epilator (yanker) worked slowly, but it did yank out some hairs with multiple passes or slow progress. The grinder wheel was fine texture, perhaps 250-350 grit, but did remove calluses slowly and safely.(While the box refers to the grinder as a blade sharpener, we did not try to sharpen any kitchen knives with it! It will definitely last longer on calluses.)There are two speeds, activated by sequential presses of the power button. There is one other button for releasing the three tools. The new tool snaps into place, provided it is oriented in the right direction.The rechargeable battery is listed as a 6000mAh lithium, which charges at 5V/1A in 100 minutes for 60 minutes approximate working time.As other reviewers have noted, it is not a quiet tool, but it is an effective one. She likes it.

    Works, but definitely not painless

    While it does remove hair from the root, I wouldn’t describe the experience as comfortable. It definitely hurts, especially on more sensitive areas, and the pulling sensation is not exactly pleasant. If you’re new to epilators, that’s something to keep in mind.The cordless design is convenient, and I like being able to use it without having to stay near an outlet. It’s also small enough to hold comfortably and easy to take when traveling.The different attachments are a nice bonus. The shaving head is useful for areas where I don’t want to epilate, and the callus remover is a nice extra.The heads are easy to remove and clean, which I appreciate. Overall, it does what it’s supposed to do, but the hair removal itself can be pretty painful and uncomfortable. I’d recommend it more for someone who already knows they can tolerate epilation rather than someone expecting a gentle or painless experience.

    My wife has spent years in a relentless, top-secret war against those mysterious stray hairs that women pretend don’t exist. Her arsenal has included hot wax, tweezers, and chemical depilatory creams that smell like a lab experiment gone wrong. Seeking a truce, I surprised her with this 3-in-1 High Efficiency Electric Epilator, Shaver, and Callus Remover.Here is her unfiltered field report: Her exact initial reaction to the epilator head was a resounding, room-shaking “OUCH!” However, she soldiered on and later conceded that it actually works really well. True to the rumors, the more you use it, the less it seems to hurt, or perhaps your soul just accepts its fate. The shaver head gets the job done safely, but like most electric razors, it won’t leave your legs feeling butter-smooth like a traditional manual razor. The hair is gone from sight, even if the absolute silky texture isn’t quite there. The callus remover head is untested so far, mainly because she’s fiercely loyal to another callous remover she’s for a while.This device is undeniably loud. My wife logically deduced that the motor is calibrated at that specific decibel level strictly to drown out your screams while epilating.Her tip for survival is that since it is wet/dry versatile, my wife strongly recommends using it either in the shower or immediately after a hot bath when your pores are open. It reduces the agony significantly.Maintenance is easy, use the included brush to clean away the hair or place the head under warm water. The heads are easy to remove for swapping out or cleaning. There is a cord included for charging. Charges seem to last a long time.At the end of the day, this 3-in-1 tool gets her full stamp of approval. It’s effective, versatile, and conveniently waterproof. After all, to quote the great Bob Dylan: “Behind every beautiful thing, there’s some kind of pain.”Five stars.

    Messy but works.

    My mom used to say, “Beauty is painful” whenever any of us complained while getting our hair brushed. This epilator is the epitome of that. It seriously hurts, but it works. You have to move slowly and go over the same area multiple times. Apparently it’s less painful if you do it immediately after showering but we didn’t try that. This was the first time using a epilator so there was a learning curve. The big thing is that the hair goes everywhere. That should have been obvious since there is nothing to catch or contain it, but I think the pain dulled the senses.This epilator comes with the base, 3 attachments, a cleaning brush, and a USB to USB-C charging cable. The 3 attachments are the epilator, a razor, and what he box calls a “blade sharpener.” It’s actually a pumice stone for callous removal. There is no wall adapter included.Aside from that, this device is decent quality. I’m not sure how durable it will be since it’s mostly plastic, but it works well. There are covers for the two heads not in use, but nothing on the head attached to the base. I’m not sure if that is by design or if it got missed. The manual isn’t the greatest. For instance, it only mentions pressing the button to turn it on or off. However, we found pressing the button twice bumps it up to a higher speed. It also seems to have mixed messages about whether the device can be used for wet applications.

    Great basic hair removal appliance, plus foot buffer!

    Pleasantly surprised with this item, even nicer than expected! I’ve been wanting to try an epilator for a while and so far I’m satisfied with how this works.I really appreciate the ease of setup and use, even though the directions don’t explain how to use the power//modes button (it’s easy enough to figure out). The different attachments are simply to take on and off, stay on securely.It’s design is well thought out, it’s a perfect size for the average hand and is “ergonomic” to hold/use. It’s not too noisy, sounds basically like an electric razor. The attachments are easy to rinse off (do when they’re not attached).The epilator pulls out several hairs at once which can sting a little but you could perhaps use steam/hot cloths on the area first (or ice). I tried it on my legs, my arms, and even the hairs on my (middle-aged female) chin (lol)–all worked well. The razor is a good option which I intend to use more often, seems to work best on hairs that are 1-2 weeks grown in for me. And I really like the skin buffer attachment–really takes the skin off your feet quickly and smoothly!It hopefully stands up to a lot of use but so far it seems durable.Definitely pleased with this, it’s good value and above average quality, can recommend!!

    Um.. ouch!! But works

    I want to start this off with saying exactly what my title says, ouch!! Wow. I don’t know what I was expecting, however I have never used anything like this before- and let me just tell you this little thing can give you quite the painful experience. I don’t know what I expected from it. Honestly, I should have expected it to hurt how it did. I am done waxing before and that definitely hurts. This does not hurt as much as that does, but again for some reason I wasn’t expecting the pain that I was about to enter. Don’t let that scare you away from trying this. This I think this is absolutely amazing and it hurts way less waxing does. And I’m also sure that with more usage I will get used to it and it will just be more bothersome than hurtful.Overall it definitely works. I’m very happy with the results, I did have to realize I was going a little too quickly, that might have added to the pain and uncomfort I was feeling. I feel like this is going to be a learning curve to use it properly and effectively for each person, but overall even with the shock factor of feeling pain from it. I am very happy with this product.I would definitely recommend this. Just hopefully you are reading reviews. Unlike I did not and are expecting an aware. There’s going to be a little bit of discomfort and or pain and you are ready for it.

    Works well, easy to use, but rather loud

    The kit arrived well packaged with everything you need.While there are instructions, they are rather brief. I included a photo of the button on the back that needs to be pressed to change the heads.I usually shave with a razor, and wanted to try an epilator for a more lasting solution to leg hair.Waited till my hair was showing to use this. Suspect longer would have been better, especially with fine hair, but its summer so I used it as soon as hair was visible.It took multiple passes, but hair did get removed. A few stubborn ones had a twingy feeling, but it was pretty painless.Swapped heads to try the shaver – it worked well but result was not as sleek as a razor.The device arrived fully charged. I didn’t realize that at first as the display showed a 3 when turned on, then I realized the 3 was a 3 second countdown to the motor starting. Glad it warns you as the device is very loud!Overall, I’m happy with the results and would recommend it as the price of 30 seems a good value.
