Solid option for guards
My husband was pleasantly surprised by these. They snap securely into his shaver and don’t pop out during use. The plastic feels solid and durable. The set includes a variety of length options, although my husband sticks to his usual size so I can only speak to that one.Overall, they offer a good value for the price, and so far everything is working just fine.Just keep in mind that these are designed exclusively for the Lawn Mower 4.0 and won’t fit other models, so double check your model before ordering!

Excellent upgrade
I think these clipper guards are a definite improvement over my stock setup. To start, I could find no manufacturing defects. All the guards are well made and smooth. They are easy to install and fit perfectly. Very tight, no wobbling or moving around. They glide over skin with no abrasive feel or irritation. I really like knowing the blade depth is set and won’t change during use. The plastic is strong and doesn’t flex much, making them very effective. That’s the biggest advantage to these that I see. This kit has plenty of length options to choose from and I personally don’t have a use for any other optional lengths that weren’t included. Have just been using the 3mm so far, but I might go longer soon.

Easy to switch
I bought this set of guide combs because I wanted more control over trimming lengths. The different sizes make it easy to switch between a close trim and leaving a little more length. Each guard fits securely on my trimmer and has stayed in place during normal grooming. The plastic feels reasonably durable, but there’s still some room for improvement in the material feel.

I ordered these guards to use with my Lawn Mower 4.0 trimmer, and they fit perfect. They snap onto the trimmer head and stay put with no wobble or side to side play.
