I like this set of tools because it includes all the sizes I need. Whether my hair is longer or shorter, I can always find the right size to cut my own hair. Perfect Replacements To Have On Hand
“BFLEPATI 4-Piece Replacement Guide Comb” was exactly what I needed after one of my original guide combs disappeared during a bathroom cleanup. The combs snapped onto my Remington trimmer securely and fit just like the originals. The sizes are useful for different haircut lengths, and the curved design makes self-trimming much easier. I gave myself a quick buzz cut before a family barbecue, and my son actually asked if I had gone to a barber, which gave me a good laugh. The plastic feels sturdy, the size is manageable, and they glide through hair comfortably without scratching the scalp. They are also easy to rinse clean after use. Overall, these replacement combs helped extend the life of a perfectly good trimmer and performed better than I expected.

Work just fine with Remington Shortcut HC4250
Some of the teeth on my husband’s combs have broken on his original guides hence the need to order a few replacements. We own model number HC4250 and these are compatible. They fit and snapped into place just as easily as the original guides. They also just as secure as the originals as they aren’t loose or rattling when the razor is running. They are just as easy to clean too, just like the originals.I couldn’t compare a couple of the guides to the originals since the old ones are broken and gone. I could compare the #2, 1/4″ comb and they measure the same. The teeth do have mor give to them despite them being a tad bit thicker than the originals. This might affect precision slightly?? It won’t bother my husband at all. In fact, he was looking at them and said the only way he could tell the difference was the originals had the Remington brand stamped on them. The quality of the material they are made from is very similar, and it is hard to tell them apart.My husband usually just ends up buying a new razor once too many of his guide combs break. This razor isn’t that old yet so it will be nice to get some more mileage out of it!

4-Piece Replacement Guide Comb Set Compatible with Remington Shortcut HC4240 HC4250 HC4300 by BFLEPATII sampled this replacement guide comb set for my Remington Shortcut trimmer after misplacing a couple of the original guards that came with my clipper.Since the Shortcut models use a more specialized curved design, I was not sure how well third-party guards would fit, but these attached securely and lined up with the blade much better than I expected.The snap-on connection felt stable during use and did not pop loose while trimming.The included range of sizes made the set practical for different types of cuts and touch-ups. I especially liked having the shorter guards available for maintaining a close buzz cut around the sides and back of my head without going completely down to bare skin.The larger guards also worked well for blending and leaving a little more length on top. I found the curved shape followed the contour of my head naturally, which made self-haircuts easier and more consistent.The plastic material feels reasonably sturdy without being overly rigid or brittle. Too Large for my trimmer set
I bought this guide comb set as a replacement for my Remington Shortcut trimmer, and while it does not fit to all the the trimmer models, I ended up feeling a bit disappointed with the overall experience.The combs seem well made and are constructed from sturdy plastic that feels durable enough for regular use. I also liked that the set includes four different length options, giving some flexibility for haircuts and beard maintenance. Having multiple replacement combs on hand is definitely convenient if you’ve lost or damaged the originals.My biggest issue is the size of these combs. They are much larger than I expected and feel somewhat oversized for regular trimming and touch-ups.. Because of this, achieving precise trimming was more difficult than I had hoped.Overall, not a product for me.

Perfectly cromulent guide combs
They’re OK.. They fit the Remington clipper.. But they’re not very sturdy. The depths seem accurate. I feel like the plastic is a little flimsy compared to the actual Remington brand guards. Still it’s nice to find aftermarket parts for these Remington clippers. I never figured they were popular enough to warrant third party aftermarket parts, so I was happy to find these. But in general I will stick with the professional barber equipment brands I know like BabylissPro, Gamma+, and Andis. This is a good value for aftermarket guards.

Perfect Fit for my Shortcut clipper
Great replacement combs for my Remington Shortcut clipper. These are made of a heavy nylon and the kits cutter guides comes in 4 lengths, 1/16″ – 1/8″ – 1/4″ – 1/2″. The different lengths are clearly marked on each guide for easy selection. These are easy to attach and easily snap into place. The tips of each guide are rounded so they are comfortable when gliding across your scalp. For the different most common lengths as well as the price point on the kit, I would consider these a great value.
