Stainless Steel Clipper Attachment Set

This 4 piece clipper attachment set includes 5/8″, 3/4″ 7/8″, and 1″ (The description and title incorrectly list 5/8″ twice but not 7/8″.The attachments are made of stainless steel and fit my Andis clippers perfectly.They are much more durable than the old plastic ones I previously used. They are also easier to get through thicker coats. I have Cocker Spaniels and these work great.

This 4 piece TAKGAARE A5 guard set has been a nice addition to my grooming routine. I usually use scissors on my Pomeranian since their double coat should never be shaved, but these metal guide combs are great for the areas where scissors can be tricky — especially the legs, feet, and tummy. The metal glides through thick Pom fur much easier than plastic guards, and they snap onto A5 style blades securely with no wobble, so each pass feels controlled. They leave plenty of undercoat behind, which is important for keeping a Pom’s coat healthy and preventing long term damage. The build feels solid, the size markings are clear, and the guards create a safe buffer over the blades while still giving an even trim.

These work really well without pinching hair but they confuse me..

These work great! They’re smooth as butter and don’t grab / pinch the hairs like some do.I have owned my grooming salon for almost 20 years and I am obsessed with using comb blades instead of metal blades because I like the smooth puppy dog look.These combs do just that, without any issues. Even with my Standard Poodle that was still a bit damp. It didn’t look stringy at all.My biggest issue with them is that the colours and numbers don’t match with my Andis set that I’ve been using since day one.I have become familiar with the colours to sizes of mine and now it’s all different with these. For example, I attached photos of the comb #5.So if my client comes in and I look in his records and his dog is a #5 comb blade, how am I supposed to know which one? This doesn’t work for me.Look at that difference! That would be a real bad mess up and my tip would be non existent.It would have been nice to see them all the same across the board. Some colours are very close to alike but others are waaaay off.Also, these seem really expensive because you only get half a set for $32 cad. I want a full set for around the price considering they don’t even come with the organizer for them, nor even a case of any kind.Both of my other sets came with either a stand or a fully closing case.Otherwise, they work great! No complaints on their functionality as of yet.
