    Very small

    Much smaller than expected, but pretty strong. Comes in a small clamshell storage container for safekeeping. I’m still learning to use magnetic polish, but have made some cool designs with these so far

    So Close to Purr-fection!

    As a cat eye gel addict (the nails, not the feline gaze), I must say this 47-piece magnet set is basically the Avengers of nail art tools. Square magnets, bead magnets, line magnets—if it were any more versatile, it would be giving relationship advice too.I’ve been able to whip up nearly every cat eye design imaginable—swirls, stripes, gradients that shimmer like a galactic nebula. It’s like having a mini nail salon powered by magnetism and dreams. My nails look like I paid $60 at a pro salon (with lots of practice), but I’m just sitting at my kitchen table with coffee and questionable lighting.BUT. And it’s a small but mighty but—no heart-shaped magnet. The one design I wanted to do for Valentine’s Day nails (or just to be extra romantic while eating chips alone) is missing. It’s like having every flavor of ice cream except cookie dough.If this set had that one magnet, it would be an 11/10. Still, highly recommend for DIYers and anyone who wants to make their nails look like space cats kissed them.TL;DR: Stellar magnet set with everything except the heart of the operation. 💅🧲💕

    works great for magnetic design

    These magnets made it super easy to create a fantastic nail design using the included magnets. The amount of cubes made it even more so for a grid pattern design with a little spin. I was hoping they would be just a tad smaller, but I feel they work fine

    Better suited for gel polish

    These magnets are great for creating interesting effects. They are better for gel polish, as the magnetic effect is immediately “locked in place” when cured under a UV lamp. With standard lacquer the magnet effect will disperse significantly during drying, creating a more subtle look. I hot glued my magnets to the end of a stick to make them easier to hold.

    Strong magnets with a learning curve

    The product listing didn’t say but this set of magnets actually comes in a little plastic box. I really appreciate it because it keeps the magnets together and makes them easy to store. It even came taped shut, ensuring everything stayed secured. And each magnet was in its own plastic bag which added an extra layer of protection.The magnets feel quite strong. However, their ease of use varies depending on the type. The bead magnets were the easiest to work with. But working on a larger nail, like a thumbnail, you need to work quickly to get clear and distinct designs. Because by the time you finish the design, the magnetization can start to fade in the area where you started.On the other hand, the cube magnets were much harder to figure out. I struggled to replicate the designs shown in the product photos, and I’m not entirely sure if it’s due to the magnets themselves or my own skill level. The magnets are strong, but I couldn’t quite determine the best angle or method to create the patterns. It might just take more practice to master their use.
