Will it grow?
I don’t know if it’s a placebo affect but i feel it is working. I have thinning on top but it does feels like it’s getting more full now that I’ve been using it a while. The instructions are simple and the application is easy along with using the roller. Which looks really fancy. The quality of the product and kit feel and look very premium to me and many other reviewers say they have good luck with it. As i stated before that I feel like it’s working but I’m not doctor or specialist in this area, but it didn’t make me feel bad or disappointed in trying this out. To be fair, it’s not a huge investment. I will continue using it until it’s gone and report back.

A Pretty Complete Hair Care Kit
The main thing that caught my attention with this kit is that it includes the 5% topical solution along with a microneedling roller, so it’s more of a complete setup than just a bottle by itself. The packaging is also pretty straightforward about what the product is intended for, including thinning hair and patchy beard areas.I’d be careful about expecting quick changes, though. Hair-growth products generally aren’t something I’d buy expecting an overnight difference, and everyone can respond differently. I’d also make sure to read the directions and warnings before using it, especially since this contains an active medication.Based on the strong rating and what’s included, it looks like a reasonable option for someone specifically looking for a 5% minoxidil kit. Just don’t buy it expecting guaranteed results. For the intended use, I’d say the overall value looks worthwhile.

Nice product, just won’t work for me.
I tried the 5% Minoxidil Kit for Men and Women once and then was advised to stop because of how the derma roller works. Because of the risk of infection if not cleaned properly, I was advised to stop using the roller and I feel the serum doesn’t work well without it. I will say the serum felt nice and applied nicely to my head. It is a bit runny, but not terribly bad. The serum is lightweight and didn’t have a smell, which I highly appreciated. The derma roller didn’t feel horribly bad, just a bit prickly. I do wish this would have been a great option for me for my hair loss, but i want to be safe rather than sorry. This of course is my own personal journey due to my health is how easy it is for me to get an infection, so your mileage will vary. I decided to give this a neutral rating because I didn’t dislike the product, but there is a slight risk of infection if the roller isn’t cleaned properly. For the price you are paying for this, if it works for you and you can clean the roller properly, I feel you are getting value for money. I wish I could have seen results from this after trying it for longer, but I will have to find another solution that is a better for me.

Great kit
I’m really excited to try this kit, it includes minoxidil, which we know has proven to work for many people for hair regrowth, and a roller to help with absorption. It also has topical biotin in the solution, which can help with hair grow growth and health. A trick one of my friends who is a physician taught me, is to also apply Retin-A to help with absorption. I will likely alternate between Retin-A some nights and the roller not more than twice per week as the directions state. I’m not telling anyone else to do that, just stating what my plan is. Keep in mind, minoxidil works as long as you use it. If you stop using it, and it has helped with new growth, you will lose that new growth. It also extends the cycle (from what I understand) of your hair, so you have less shedding. If you stop using it, you’ll feel like you have more shedding, probably because you do. I should note the roller feels solid and I like the gold accents (purely anesthetic, but a nice touch). Overall, this set is a really good value. I will update with results in a few months-consistency is key.

Love the derma roller but the serum is runny
I cannot yet comment on how well this particular product works as I’ve just begun to use it, but I can confirm that I have had good results with 5% minoxidil products in general so assuming this product actually has 5% minoxidil, that should be a given. My review therefore will reflect my thoughts on ease of use and quality of the kit’s contents.The minoxidil serum comes in a glass bottle with a dropper style top for applying the solution to your scalp (or beard). The instructions say to apply 1 milliliter a day, but there are no instructions on the box or the bottle that tells you how to administer 1 ml. They should have included a marking on the dropper tube indicating how much to fill it to dispense 1 ml. I had to find a children’s medicine cup to measure how much the dropper holds to determine how full to fill it to get 1 ml. In case you’re wondering, it appears to be about ½ of a dropper full. If they are not going to put a mark on the dropper indicating the 1 ml mark, they could at least put instructions on the box indicating how much to fill the dropper.The serum is unscented, which is nice, and has a slightly oily feel to it. Having said that, I did not find that it left my hair greasy. It is thin and runny though and I found it ran down my face a bit when I was applying it to my hairline. You want to be sure to clean it off of any skin surfaces where you do not want hair growth, so I found that a little annoying. In the past I have used the spray foam minoxidil which stays put better.What I loved about this kit is the derma roller which you use on your skin before applying the serum. It has tiny little needles like a micro-needling device which helps the scalp absorb the solution better. The roller appears to be high quality and causes a slight prickling sensation when using it. It is because of this great derma roller that I give this product 4 stars.

Easy to Apply & My Hair Seems Thicker
Thinning hair and or a receding hairline are clearly not included in the joys of life. However, for me, like many others, with age, some new things begin to develop while others somehow begin disappearing.I’ve read about Minoxidil for quite some time and finally decided to give it a try. Hopefully, for me, there will be some improvement down the road.This product claims that “ Minoxidil hair growth serum shows significant results within just 12 weeks, with most users observing noticeable hair regrowth after 6 months.”I plan to stick with it for at least 12 weeks and hopefully much longer if I see some promising results.This product is very easy to use… Simply place a few drops (1ml) onto the problem areas of your clean scalp and massage it in with your fingertips. That’s all there is to it, and it’s very easy. It’s not smelly or greasy, so regular applications shouldn’t be an issue.I’m giving this product four stars only because I don’t know yet how well it will work for me. But hopefully, a few months down the road, I will see some positive results, at which time I’ll be setting up a subscription so that I never run out of product.If I see good results, I’ll be adding at least 10 more stars… Wish me luck

Nice Set Overall
This is a pretty good set overall. The solution comes with a dropper like the pictures show, which is actually nice and easy to use. The listing mentions a spray, but I wasn’t expecting one based on the photos, so that wasn’t an issue for me.The only thing I would mention is that the roller is surprisingly sharp, so I would definitely be gentle with it. Other than that, everything looks nice and the set comes with useful accessories.

First impressions before results (will update after real use)
I want to be upfront that this is a first impression, not a results review. I have been noticing more shedding lately and decided to give this a try, so at this point I can only speak to what arrived and how it looks going in, not whether it actually regrows anything. I plan to come back and update once I have used it consistently for a while.On first look, I like what is in the kit. It is a 5 percent minoxidil topical, which is a well known ingredient people use for thinning hair, and it comes paired with a derma roller and a dropper for application, so the setup feels complete for the price. The bottle and packaging look clean and the dropper makes it easy to target specific spots like the hairline or crown.I do not want to make any claims about effectiveness, because that is genuinely personal and takes time to judge, and results and side effects vary from person to person. Anything like this is worth running by a doctor or pharmacist first, especially since minoxidil can cause an initial shedding phase and some people get scalp irritation, and a derma roller needs to be kept clean to use safely. Those are things I am going in aware of rather than problems I have hit.So for now this is an initial impression of a reasonable looking kit at a fair price, and I am holding my real judgment, and my rating, until I have used it long enough to actually see whether it does anything. I will update this review honestly either way.
