I had never even heard of a device to laser remove hair at home. I just knew that it was expensive at a doctors office.I had stopped shaving almost 5 years ago because my hair on my legs would feel rough and sharp quickly after shaving. Less than 18 to 24 hours. So it felt like a waste.I did not have much expectations for the 5minskin device. But I was impressed with the process being so fast and easy. As long as you watch the video link from the company which is included inside the box, you should have no problems.I have used the laser tool 3 times a week after shaving for 3 weeks. I cannot believe how much of a difference there has been. My hair has barely grown any in-between shavings. My skin is fair and my hair is dark brown and thick. So far so good
The quality of this device is much better than I anticipated. The promo picture does not so it justice. Came in a very nice box that included the device itself, a hand razor, safety glasses, and the charger. The instructions were easy to follow and the device does seem to work as advertised. The light it emits is quite bright so the safety glasses are a definite must. Almost worried they weren’t enough it was so bright. I didn’t experience any pain during or after using it. There was quite a bit of heat depending on the intensity you use. All and all I’m happy with this purchase. If I don’t see any reduction in hair in the next few weeks I will update my review.

Mixed results
I’ve been using this at home hair remover device, and I’ve seen some reduction in hair growth. However, it’s not as painless as claimed, and I’ve experienced some discomfort during use. The results are also inconsistent, with some areas responding better than others. Overall, it’s an okay product, but not a miracle solution.

Not a Tria and way overpriced for the given results.
I bought this for my wife after her Tria stopped working after years of use. She has expressed frustration with this tool every time she uses it. It takes longer to see any results, and even when results do occur, they are far below what was advertised. At this price point she expected more from the tool.

Doesn’t work and is time consuming
It is a lot more time consuming than it claims. You have to go over each area 3 times multiple days a week for 10 weeks. It took 10 minutes each time just to do my bikini area and under arms. I was wanting to do my legs, too but didn’t have the time. After the recommended months of use, there was no change in my hair growth. A total waste of time. I was able to get a refund though.

Works! At the end of 2025 I went to a laser removal salon for a quote to have laser hair removal on my lower legs only. I am fair skinned with dirty blonde hair and not really hairy to start with, but the quote was $2k for unlimited treatments to only the front half of my lower legs. I left the salon and logged into Amazon while sitting in my car in the parking lot and found the 5minskin Hair Laser Removal Handset for 1/10th of the salon quote I had just received. I spent a bit researching reviews on Amazon as well as on the products website, which I don’t always trust, but most were positive and I placed my order. I started my treatment the same day I received the handset a few days into the new year and have followed the instructions to a T! I just finished week 6 and started week 7 today. I can definitely report that it is WORKING! I have very smooth skin on both sides of my shins and feel confident that in a few more weeks I will achieve the same on all of my lower legs. I have had no issues with skin irritation and do not have any pain associated with using the device. While it takes time and patience to achieve results, it is easy to use and definitely works!

This product does not work. I bought it in January, and I have used it as directed for 2 cycles now (10 weeks each time). And my hair still keeps growing back. I have light skin, and dark, thick underarm hair so it should be the ideal combination. Safe to say, this product is a WASTE OF MONEY.
