Getting three trimmers worked out well for my family. I keep one in my bathroom, gave one to my dad, and the third stays in my travel bag. Having separate trimmers feels cleaner, and everyone has one ready when it is needed. It saves us from passing the same tool around, and each person knows where theirs is. My dad had been trimming his nose hair with small scissors for years. It took extra time, and he worried about slipping inside his nose. This trimmer has been much easier for him. He places it gently in his nostril and turns the handle a few times. His nose hair is fairly coarse, and most of it comes off in one pass. A few thicker hairs may need another turn, but there is no pulling or pinching. He even tried it on a few stray ear hairs, and it handled those just as well.
