    The three combs and brushes are the same medium level quality that we have previously purchased. So far none have broken, and several we have that look and feel the same have lasted through months of being tossed around in dance bags, so I expect these to be durable long-term.The real star of this set is the two sticks of gel for flyaways! It looks the same as a mascara set,but there is a clear gel inside. I usually wipe off some of the gel on the side before using it to touch up my hair. It has a great hold!     Tames Your Fly Aways!

    The star here is definitely the hair finishing sticks! I got this set because I have tried the hair finishing stick before and I loved it so much I wanted to get more. The finishing sticks are basically a hair gel like product in a mascara wand that you can use to brush into your baby hairs to keep them in place or to prevent fly aways. My baby hairs around my face tend to fly away and do their own thing, so I got these to help me create a more sleek ponytail look. The hair gel works really well and the mascara wand is the perfect size and texture to help the gel brush the hairs down to stay in place. The texture isn’t too thick, but it does leave your hair feeling pretty greasy where you brush it on. I would really only use this if I knew I’d be washing my hair the next day. I love the variety you get of the three pink hair brushes also! The tail comb is my favorite as it’s perfect for parting or sectioning out your hair. I use this to part my hair in the morning, and to section my hair out for curlers! The other two brushes are nice too and can also help you part your hair or section it out easily. I think the price you get a good value!

    Good starter set for finishing your ‘do’s

    This kit has everything you need to finish your style with a more “polished” look. It’s a great starter kit – it has a rat-tail comb for even parts and different brushes to tame the flyaways and smooth your up-dos. If you really want to make sure your hair stays put, the gel masacara wands work nicely, although they had a bit of a chemical-ly smell to them when I opened the tube. Not bad and I didn’t notice it once it was on my hair. This is a good deal if you’re looking to get a set for a good price rather than buying the pieces individually.

    Tools ok, gel works satisfactorily

    This set comes with a comb, a brush, a small styling tool and 2 tubes of finishing stick gel. The styling tools are of average quality but the whole set plus gel costs about $9 and 2 tubes of the gel alone cost about $6. So it is worth the money. I use the gel on my hair on days when I don’t wash it because I get fly away hair around my face. It keeps those hair stuck down better than hair spray but my hair does start to stick up a little bit by the end of the day. I don’t use a lot so that my hair doesn’t have a wet look. Overall I think it works pretty well.

    This 5Pcs Hair Finishing Stick Gel set is great for styling! I received all 5 pieces, and they match the listing. I was pleased to find that the flyaway frizz tamers are full sized bottles. The combs all work as they should, and I haven’t had any issues with the bristles breaking or shedding. The bristles are dense, but don’t hurt to brush with. The rat tail comb is great for sectioning precise sections of hair for styling, and the larger brush comb makes it easy to gather hair up into slicked back hair styles. I like to use the flyaway gel to coat any pieces sticking out, and then use the smaller brush comb to lay the rest of the hair flat. The gel is strong enough to lay pieces flat, but also doesn’t look or feel greasy or crusty. This is a durable, affordable set that’s a must have if you like sleek styles!
