Decent thinning shears for home use… helped with bulk
Got these through Vine because I cut our kids’ hair at home. Figured I’d try actual thinning shears on my kids super thick hair.They’re 6 inches and feel comfortable enough in the hand. The ergonomic handle helped a bit during longer sessions so my fingers didn’t get as cramped. The blades cut cleanly and did a good job of blending and taking some weight out without creating big chunks (as long as you go slow and don’t overdo it). I used them on my daughters thicker hair and they made the finished cut look a lot softer.They’re not professional salon quality, you can tell by the weight and finish, but for the occasional home haircut they work fine. Stainless steel seems solid so far and they came sharp right out of the box. Just be careful the first few times because it’s easy to thin too much if you’re not used to them.Overall a practical little tool if you do home haircuts and want something better than regular scissors for texturizing. Happy to have them in the drawer.

These are actually quite easy to use for a novice (untrained person). Being left-handed, u sure if holding correctly but they seemed to do the job..

WOW!!! Great thinning/texturizing shears!
I’ve been a licensed cosmetologist & cosmetology teacher since 1990 & 1991. I’ve been in the business a long time. I’ve owned my fair share of shears & thinning/texturizing shears. I’ve purchased the expensive shears & I’ve also purchased the budget friendly shears. I was in the market for a new pair of thinning/texturizing shears. That’s when I saw this pair. I ordered them & was excited to see what they are like. When they arrived, they looked very nice. That’s when I put them to the test. My mother needed a haircut & I always have to thin/texturize her hair. The first thing I noticed, was how comfortable they are in my hand. Some shears can be uncomfortable in your hand. These felt great in my hand. Then I started to use them. The first word I said was, “Butter!” They cut so smoothly, like a hot knife through butter. They cut so extremely smoothly. They put my last pair of thinning/texturizing shears to shame. The worst part…my old pair cost a hefty sum over what these shears sell for. I am super impressed by these shears. They are so smooth, so sharp, so comfortable. They are everything I look for when I’m buying a new pair of shears. The price point is insane. I would have guessed that this quality of shears would cost a lot more than this pair does cost. I’m sincerely blown away with the quality of these thinning/texturizing shears. They come in a beautiful, full zip case. That way they can’t fall out & potentially get ruined. They’ve also included a cutting comb, a polishing rag & a shear tool, that you can tighten or loosen the tension of your shears with. This pair of shears comes with everything you need. The best part…they don’t come with the outrageous price tag. If you’re looking for a quality pair of thinning/texturizing shears, this pair is amazing.

THIS IS NOT a Vine Customer Review of Free Product
I decided to give this a try to speed up my process as I have not had a thinnning sissors before and have been putting in the layers with just regular sissors so I decied to read through the reviews and they are all Vine Customer Review of Free Product reviews so I was like I guess why not lol.So first off the packaging is very sturdy and very nice it came with a brush as well as a microfiber cloth, an adjustment pick, and of course the thinning shears. Off the bat it is strudy and very nice to hold it is also very safely packaged. But when it come to the actual cutting it fell short of my expectaions at first I enjoyed how it cut through my higher quality wig(the one in the video) clean and very sharp(I would recommend go for vertical cuts where you can because of its sharpness) but when I switched to a lower quality wig it immedietly started to catch on the thicker more plastic hair even in some smaller bunches. I did get it to work better with half cuts and more small vertical cuts but it is quite upsetting with its marketed quality. Definitely better than the shears you can get for 10$ but is not fit for older thicker wigs but rather thinner natural hair or higher quality wigs.
