Wonderful standard shears that get the job done 👍🏽
Being a hairstylist since 2006 and managing/operating the one of few professional beauty distribution stores in the US, one can most certainly say I have seen ((and owned)) some of the best tools on the market for cosmetologists. Just because tools are priced high, does not mean their performance is of equal quality. For the price, these shears are wonderful! I still practice and have hair clients I do at home, a kitchen cutter if you will. These have held up right there beside my Saki shears without skipping a beat! I know I’m not supposed to, but I always cut past my 2nd knuckle, so I tend to veer away from shears any longer that 5.5 because I don’t want to add to collection of scars from doing so. Even though these are 6.5, I haven’t cut myself yet, oddly. I’m not sure if this has anything to do with the shear itself, but worth noting however. I have already used these on 50+ clients & they still cut how they did the first day I used them. They’re sharp, cut clean lines, and don’t have drag or pull the hair. Nothing is worse than hair bending while you’re in the middle of a cut lol. These have dropped a couple of times and the haven’t needed to be adjusted or realigned. These are made from a strong metal and the cut is on point, every single time ((no pun intended)). All goes to show that in the hair industry, what you pay for isn’t always what you get in this day and age.Overall, will these replace my best shears?? Well, no. BUT these are amazing shears to have in your arsenal as backups or if you’re just starting out of school & want to cut costs until your really get up and running. 10 out of 10 ✔️ HIGHLY recommend!!

Sharp Cut Clean
Okay, these scissors are really sharp, they look and feel like high quality styling scissors. I’ve only used them once since I received them, I trimmed the ends off my hair and they cut cleanly. The ability to last without corrosion, or becoming dull to me will make a better review, but that requires a lot more use, thus for now 4 stars. That being said, I did a search on the materials; “JP440C steel contains higher carbon content and chromium alloy compared to standard US stainless steel, making it harder, more corrosion-resistant, and capable of holding a sharper edge for significantly longer periods. Standard US stainless steel is softer, more affordable to produce, but requires frequent sharpening and is more prone to dulling and minor corrosion over time.” If this information is correct these should be the last pair of trimming scissors I ever need to order.

Well Made High Quality
I have been looking for the appropriate scissors to cut hair and figured I would give these a try. I am not a hair stylist but just someone who will occasionally trim in between official cuttings. The sharpness is FANTASTIC!. Lightweight material used in making these, however, they are extremely sturdy and durable and very easy to use. They work well and feel great in your hands. The overall quality is EXCELLENT as is the value for the price. So glad I got these. Highly recommend.

I’m glad i ordered this AQIABI hair cutting scissors. They are pretty long, what caught my attention was they are crafted from authentic Japanese steel, and extremely sharp. I easily rated them five stars because they slice through thick hair smoothly with no tugging. The weight distribution feels super good Honestly, using these shears makes every home trim i cut look like a professional salon haircut.
