Hair falling out after 3 uses
I ordered these to put my hair up, with hair pieces and without. I used them 3 times in 10 days. I had been to the salon 10 days ago and tonight my stylist asked me what was going, was I stressed, had something happened, changed medication? No, no and no, I replied, he then told me my hair was breaking off in 3 places, I could see the gaps in my scalp. I am allergic to nickel but these are only listed as metal? I can’t say if it was the metal but the gaps in my hair are exactly where I had placed the clips. Buyer beware.

Super durable!
Wow! These will last forever (or until I lose them)! I usually use the Magic Grip hair pins, which sometimes break. While the Magic Grip pins are still great for many things, I wanted something unbreakable and these hair combs certainly delivered.My hair is thin and straight, but there is a lot of it, and it’s between my shoulder blades length-wise. The largest size is a little too big for me, but the medium and small sizes are great. These fit nicely in your back pocket and hold a bun very securely. These are also very comfortable and I haven’t had issues with them pulling my hair. I’ve even slept with them in! Removing the combs is equally simple and doesn’t pull the hair, like some combs can.I want to learn how to do more complex styles with these!

I have very long medium thick hair, these seem to work like large bobbie pins 2 hold all of my hair up in a twist or bun all day. Im figuring out different styles with them and I just can’t say enough good things about them. I think I ‘m going to spray paint some of them with different colors. But you could even whined some ribbon around at the base or some wire and beads.

Great for quick updos
The pack of hair combs is great! They are made of metal, so they are much sturdier than some piece of plastic. They come in lots of different sizes which means you have a lot of choices. The largest size seems like it would hold pretty thick hair in place and the smaller sizes could be used for thinner hair or styles where only part of your hair is up. They are super easy to use… just gather your hair and shape it into a bun, a chignon, a French twist, or whatever suits you. Then slide the comb in to hold it. If you need to use two you can because there are plenty of them in this pack. They stay in place well. I like to keep them handy so that I can toss my hair up quickly if I want it out of my way.

THESE!! These are the THICK ones that function
Excellent combs. I have some from other makers but they don’t function because the metal is too soft. These are made of a durable metal that is thicker and doesn’t bend as soon as it is put to use. My hair has become rather thin and fine but they still need a heavier comb to hold a bun. I usually use a regular tie to make a bun and then hold it in place with the metal comb. I haven’t managed to get it to work with just the comb alone like I have seen in some videos. I need to move around and just any comb doesn’t hold well enough. That is the trick I have found. I use the comb and the tie because I get a hair headache from my hair pulling down on my scalp when it just hangs down. The comb helps redistribute the weight of the hair throughout the day against my head and nothing is sticking way out to bang against anything like those big plastic clips. I wear those sometimes too. It is nice to have a variety of items to mix it up. (migraine ladies–you know) I also don’t like to drive with claw clips in my hair.

This was a great deal! I already have the smaller ones from somewhere and it holds but need to use like 3-4 of those so decided to get one with more teeth. I use two of the big ones and just one little one. It holds my hair throughout the day esp at work as I’m walking back and forth at my clinic. Much better than a clip which eventually gets out of place. This was a great buy!

Slightly bent but sturdy!
Each piece came individually wrapped in a plastic sleeve, in a box, and together they are quite heavy. I was surprised by the weight and thickness of these hair pieces. I have posted some pictures showing how some pieces came bent, but this might help them hold? They are still functional; other pictures showing a size comparison with a AA battery and a standard lipstick tube. The largest of these pieces are very large and would work well in thick curly hair or hair that’s very long. I was able to easily twist my shoulder length hair up and work one of the smaller combs all the way through. It feels very secure and I love how simple and sturdy these are, as well as how they stay flat and sit close to my scalp. I was looking for a replacement for scrunchies and a ponytail and these are honestly perfect. So happy I found these and the size options are great. I’ll be able to continue using these as my hair grows out. I base many of my purchases on reviews, so I hope this is helpful! Thanks for reading, many blessings to you!
