Strong but loud
This nail dust collector has very strong suction and does a great job keeping dust contained while filing. The adjustable suction levels are easy to use, and I really like the reusable filter since it’s simple to clean and saves money over time. The compact size is also a plus and doesn’t take up much space on my table.I took off one star because it’s pretty loud, especially on the higher settings. It works well overall, but the noise level can be a bit much during longer sessions.

what a huge difference this has made for grooming my nails and feet! especially my feet when I take my electric today sanding tool to keep them calluses away. that tool makes a lot of dead skin dust and this fan sucks it all up! no more mess to clean up after grooming my nails and feet! The battery lasts for quite a while. so it’s less likely to have it die while mid-use. this nail dust filter/fan is really lightweight but still feels sturdy. it’s also super easy to use. there’s the power button and then 3 speed buttons. it’s a simple design that functions perfectly!

Noisy but does what it’s supposed to!
I had been wanting a dust collector for a long time. I was used to removing my gel polish outside the house in the patio because the dust would get all over the place (not to mention it’s not healthy to breathe that stuff) – so once I received this, I was beyond excited to test it out.My first impression was that it was pretty loud. There are 3 fan speed options, I picked the strongest. The noise easily drowned out the noise from the nail drill, and I couldn’t hear what the other person (about 5ft from me) was saying. Not a huge deal, though, as I usually have my headphones playing music while I do my nails.The most important thing: it works. I found it a little tricky to position my fingers right above it so the collector could do its job, but even when I had it a few inches above, it at least prevented the dust from flying everywhere. I would then brush off any residue that got on my hands and the collector would promptly pick it up.It is a corded unit. The filter can be reused many times before needing to be replaced (I think the recommendations are around every 3-4 months but that obviously depends on how often you use it).I’m very happy with it and will continue to use it!

What I love most about this dust collector is how professional it looks and feels. It’s large enough for your whole hand, and works great. It pulls dust straight down from the top and blows clean air out the sides, so nothing gets scattered around. I also like to keep it running whenever I’m working with products that have strong fumes since it helps clear the air a bit too. It looks nice sitting out next to my UV lamp and nail supplies, so I never feel like I need to hide it when I’m done. It runs on its own AC adapter and has three speeds. When you first plug it in and turn it on, it starts at the highest speed automatically. It’s not silent, but it’s about the same noise level as a white noise machine, and the slower speeds are even quieter.The magnetic cover is really convenient and easy to remove when you need to clean the filter.
