Wow, soooo hydrating
I’ve tried a lot of hair masks for my dyed, damaged, dry, low porosity hair and honestly this is one of the better ones. It is super hydrating and left my hair feeling so soft and moving so freely (I have some texture to my hair so that was an accomplishment). I also have a shampoo and conditioner from this brand as well and they were just OK, this though I would highly recommend to anyone need a deep conditioning. The scent is very subtle, it is a fresh ‘green’ smell, something botanical but not floral. It fades quick. Yes the product is a bit on the pricey side but a little goes a long way and if you only deep condition once a week this will last you months. Would recommend.

Lands somewhere between a good conditioner and a real hair masque. Get the job done in bringing softness, to the point that my hair does moisture up and curl, but that scent is a bit much. Add in the price of this, and it’s not something I’d go for again. Great for a try and will finish the cup, but not quite going to be my regular routine.

Game changer
I have curly hair, that’s also been bleached, so it’s definitely a combination that leaves me needing a lot of hydration. This hair mask has completely changed my hair, for the better. Whether I do it curly, or round brush it straight, my hair looks sleeker, shinier, and less frizzy. I’m seeing less breakage and more manageability. It’s very moisturizing, and leaves my hair feeling so soft. The effectiveness on my hair cannot be understated. The product is very thick, so after apply, I run a wide-tooth comb through my hair to disperse it more evenly, then let it sit while I do the rest of my shower stuff. It’s important to do a really thorough job of rinsing afterwards, but honestly, I can’t recommend this enough.

vegan friendly deep hair masque with multiple uses
This Aliis Hair Masque & Butter works fine for my hair. For reference, I have very fine, thin, long, straight hair. My hair is color-treated with all-over blonde highlights, and I also heat style it regularly, so it tends to be a bit damaged. I’m always searching for new hair products that are designed to strengthen and hydrate hair. This hair masque is a treatment for dry, damaged, and frizzy hair like mine. Per the product description, this masque can be used as a daily conditioner, a weekly deep masque, or a pre-shampoo butter. I use it as a weekly deep masque for more strength. This masque is a medium-consistency cream. It feels comfortable and soothing upon application. It doesn’t irritate my scalp. I try to leave it on for at least 5 minutes before washing it so that it has time to nourish and strengthen my hair. It leaves my hair feeling soft and smooth. However, I haven’t noticed any obvious visible improvement with frizz and split ends. This masque is vegan-friendly and cruelty-free which is important to me. It contains a lot of natural, plant-based ingredients including ashwagandha, bergamot, and moringa. It has a fresh, lightweight scent. This is an 8 ounce container that has lasted me several weeks so far. At the current price point of $32, it’s kind of expensive. It’s on sale right now for $22 which is a much better value that is worth the cost.

Soothing
This ALIIS Hair Masque & Butter – Deep Conditioning Hair Mask for Dry, Damaged & Frizzy Hair offers soft, smooth, manageable hair. It is safe for color-treated hair, too! It lists plant-based, Vegan ingredients, and contains no sulfates, no parabens, and “unnecessary substances”. The generously sized 8oz tub container has a lot of product, so it should last awhile. A little product goes a long way. We didn’t have any issue with leaking. At over $30, it is a little pricey, but does give good results.ALIIS recommends a Care schedule where this is used twice a week in rotation with their other products. The description says it is also safe for daily use, but we just used it as a mask once a week after washing. I really like the light, clean Citrus scent.My daughter’s hair is thick, slightly unruly, and down past her bottom. Leave-in Conditioner is her best friend, and this one worked comparably. It’s almost whipped in texture, very light and not greasy feeling, and applies easily to damp hair. It did seem to her hair be more comb-friendly and less frizzy, with a bonus of being very soft when dry!

Lovely fragrance; non greasy
This hair mask is best quality for keeping the hair soft. I use it on my daughter, who has rough, thick, and curly hair. It is not a detangler, and I so which it could perform this function too. However, at present, I have to invest in another detangler for her. Some characteristics of this mask:1. Good to use before a hair wash, not after. It contains some soapy element. Hence, when I wash my hands after using it, it feels as if I have applied soap and need to wash it off. I would not want to keep a soapy mask in my hair without washing it for a long time.2. Makes the hair soft and smooth.3. Easy to apply and isn’t greasy or oily.4. Has a lovely, refreshing smell that makes the hair attractive.I wish it came in a tube instead of a jar.

Shiny, soft hair
The ALIIS Hair Masque & Butter does leave my hair soft and shiny, but it is a bit on the heavy side for my thin, fine hair. It isn’t greasy though. A little does go a long way, so this tub should last me a while. The scent is a tad strong and reminds me of a popular perfume from the 90s. Thankfully the scent that lingers after my shower is fairly mild and does not bother me. This is a masque that I use when I do not have plans to do my hair for the day as my hair will not hold a curl when I use this. While this masque does provide deep hydration, it isn’t my favorite.

Good deep conditioner
I have the full set shampoo, regular conditioner, and this deep conditioner/mask. This mask is one is thick enough and creamy to coat the strands well. I love that it’s versatile. It can be used as a pre-poo, deep treatment, or leave-in. But for 4C textures like mine, I wouldn’t recommend it as a pre-poo. It doesn’t give enough slip for detangling before wash day. It works much better as a deep conditioner or mask after cleansing. Smells earthy, clean, and natural. No overpowering fragrance, very sublte fresh smell. The ingredient list is solid: clean and botanical-forward. With many beneficial herbs that i love to see in anything i use on, or in my body. It’s clearly a strengthening treatment more than a softening one. My only downside is I have very thick, long hair so this jar is pretty much one use only. Nevertheless, for the price, I think its fair based on the quality ingredients if you want quality. Because it costs money to produce and get these quality herbs. I love it.
