    Lifted, textured hair in minutes

    This trio is perfect for days when I want full volume, effortless texture, and refreshed roots. I have medium fine hair, and these products give my hair body and lift without stiffness or stickiness.The texture spray “lived in” hair. I spritz it at the roots and mid lengths, scrunch with my fingers, and instantly get soft, matte texture powered by rice starch, sea buckthorn, and zeolite. It feels lightweight, never crunchy, and really helps me create that messy, cool girl vibe without looking overdone.The rising star volumizing finishing spray adds incredible lift at the roots while holding my style through a full day of work and errands. I love that it’s featherlight and heat protective, so I can style with a curling wand or blow dryer without fear of damage. between washes, I rely on the perk up dry shampoo, it’s talc free, absorbs oil instantly, neutralizes odour, and gives my roots a fresh, bouncy lift.

    big price tag, but not big results

    The amika Big Mood Set relies heavily on branding to justify its premium price tag. While the un.done texture spray and perk up dry shampoo are solid performers, they are far from “life-changing” given the cost. The dry shampoo seemed to be fast-vanishing; and the can was empty far sooner than expected, making the cost-per-use significantly higher than high-street alternatives.The brutal truth is that you’re paying for the vegan/cruelty-free label and the aesthetic packaging.The “Rising Star” hairspray is featherlight and is nice, and leave hair soft, but doesn’t hold my hair long. so i didnt think that it lasted long and had to reapply it mid day.all the 3 are easy to use.However because of the price i dont think these offer good value, high street brands are cheaper and better for me

    Impressive but expensive for what it is

    This is one of those products I would have probably skipped by normally.I love the fragrance; everything is vibrant and fruity but the products themselves are impressive. You get the dry shampoo, the texture spray and the finishing hairspray.The texture spray gives you volume without the sticky or in your face shine. Works well. The finishing hairspray really does help give you more lift and style. My hair is medium thickness I’d say and dries in a mess, so after straightening it can look flat. This helps a lot with that whilst keeping my hair soft.The dry shampoo is amazing and really does buy you some time if you need to go somewhere at short notice and your hair is looking like it needs a boost. I did notice some powder afterwards, but that seems to be a common theme with dry shampoos and probably wouldn’t be noticeable on lighter hair colours.Overall, all it’s a lovely presented set, but the dry shampoo could do with being in a bigger can. At £43.00 at time of review is quite expensive especially if you are wanting to trial the brand.
