    Excellent product, but so expensive

    £24.95 for a small 300ml bottle is going to deter the majority of private buyers for a start, but this shampoo is salon quality, and free from sulphates that damage hair. It is a lot thicker than regular shampoo, so you don’t need to use quite as much, and it does lather very well. I would advise using this product with the Answr sulphate free moisturising conditioner, which will set you back another £24.95 for a 300ml bottle. That’s just shy of £50 for approximately 10 treatments, so you would expect these products to live up to their claims. Well they do, and even after one treatment I can see a massive difference in my hair. All of the frizz, and flyaway hair has been tamed, and my hair looks SO much better. I normally have real problems with tangles, not just on washing day, but on every day between washes too, and that leads to split ends, and hair loss. This had also been drastically reduced. I love the smell of these products, and the simple no fuss packaging.  I can’t recommend these products enough, especially if you have fine, difficult to manage, flyaway hair. The only problem is the price, because I would love to continue using Answr, but £24.95 a bottle, at a time when household budgets are tight, is probably too much of a stretch for the majority of people, including myself. Really good products though, and I definitely recommend them.

    Love it, really good results

    I have medium/long hair and between trims, the top layer always becomes dry and frizzy (complaining about my mistreatment: colouring, straightening, tying my hair up). That becomes quite hard to manage. A heavy conditioning treatment will improve the look/glossiness, but only for a day. Then it becomes a bit of a vicious circle – you can only achieve a smooth appearance by washing and conditioning again – but if you’re using a shampoo (which apparently I have been) that is drying…? It’s like a snake eating its own tail.I found I used a little more than I usually would to get up a good lather. The shampoo has a mild and pleasant scent, and it felt like it took a little longer to wash out (perhaps because it has no silicones?). On rinsing, my hair felt EXTREMELY clean. Like, it squeaked clean. I don’t have an ANSWR conditioner, so I used my regular one for dry hair, but only on the ends and nowhere near the scalp, because I wanted to feel the cleanliness results.I can honestly say this product is excellent. My hair felt totally refreshed and extremely soft. I’d normally wash and condition my hair every other day (as explained above) but on day 3, my hair still feels really clean and with a quick brush through, quite smooth still. The other thing I’ve done for years is rotate shampoos – you know how changing your shampoo every few washes can restore that VERY clean feeling? I suspect that is also because other brands have stuff in them which creates build up, so I wonder if there would be no need to do so with this. I have high hopes! Absolutely love this shampoo.

    Sulphate free

    This is a good shampoo but it’s very expensive. I have recently treated my hair to a Keratin Brazilian straightening treatment so my hair needs to be washed with Sulphate free products: this shampoo does a good job of washing. It’s orange in colour and has a lovely fresh, fruity scent. Only a little shampoo is needed so it will last me a few months and it does leave hair fresh and smooth. It’s a good product with 92% natural ingredients but it’s a lot of money for a shampoo.

    Performance doesn’t justify it’s price.

    When I saw the price of this shampoo I nearly fell off my chair but then I’m a bloke and I don’t understand these things.Still… £25.00 (with discount) at time of review for only 300ml is pretty expensive for what this is.It went straight to my wife, who used it alongside the company’s matching conditioner (another £25) in place of her usual Treseme products, which cost considerably less for considerably more than 300ml.Initial reports weren’t that favourable, however I asked that she use the combination for three washes in total before passing final judgement as you would expect to see results by then.Three washes down and it was still a bit of disappointment for her if she was being honest.Her hair felt no different to what she was used to and yet she was using more of this product to get the same feeling.It’s expensive and doesn’t really offer good value as it doesn’t perform any better than cheaper alternatives.Unfortunately, it’s not something she would replace when it runs out as based on her experience it’s just too expensive for the results it provides.

    Worked wonders for me !

    I’m pretty impressed with this shampoo and my hair absolutely loves this product. So the texture of my hair is course and I have plenty of it, very thick and difficult to manage. I normally wash my hair and then have to wait days for it to “ settle “ and when it finally does and I can start to work with it then it’s time to wash it again and so the cycle continues …Well I used this shampoo for the first time, it smells amazing, lathers well and it left my hair feeling squeaky clean and somehow my hair suddenly wants to behave on day one rather than day 3 or 4, my hair feels smoother and more manageable and for my hair that’s a very rare event. I will be buying the conditioner to use alongside the shampoo, I love it !
