Lathers well – will see how well it works for dandruff
I personally don’t have dandruff – however, my SO does… so I got this for him to see how he liked it versus the liquid controlling shampoo he currently uses.First… what you get are two fairly large sized bars… a “shampoo” bar, and a “conditioner” bar (these are round cakes – a very generous size).You use the shampoo bar, generate lather (which he reported worked well), and work it into your hair. Rinse, then do a similar thing with the conditioning bar.Personally, I was rather surprised to see these are ‘bars’, rather than liquid… as ‘bars’ would seem to me to be harder to apply to your head (though would work well on other body hair). He agreed that the bars were not as convenient as liquid solutions – but still seemed to work well in his opinion.He has not used this enough to see how it controls dandruff – so i will report back if there are any negative reactions (otherwise, it’s good to go).

Scent too overwhelming
I tried this shampoo and conditioner but just opening the box hit me with its strong fragrance. The box says it’s supposed to be citrus but it was strong perfume. The scent was so bad that even after thoroughly rinsing it out, the scent in my hair made me wheeze and triggered my asthma. I had to take another shower with different products to get the scent out and then I wrapped up these bars and got them out of my bathroom because they were like having a bad air freshener.

Smell is way too strong
I haven’t used a shampoo or conditioner bar in a while but I really like them for the concept and ease of travel. One of the great things about them is supposed to be that they reduce plastic, but these came in a thick paper box with another thick layer of styrofoam-type material to hold the bars in place, so it defeats the purpose of being environmentally friendly to me.The first thing I noticed when opening the box was the smell. It reminds me of a very particular scent of men’s cologne, similar to what my dad wears so at first it was a pleasant scent memory. I enjoyed it less and less as I realized the smell does not dissipate or lessen over time. If you go anywhere near my bathroom, you can smell these bars. I’m not even sensitive to smells usually, and I nearly got rid of these within the first week.In terms of how they work for my hair, the shampoo bar lathers up great and I liked how it made my hair feel. I wasn’t as impressed with the conditioner bar personally, it didn’t smooth or soften my hair as much as I would like. I will keep them for now, but not use them regularly since getting them wet brings the smell right back.If you are going to have these in your house or gift them to someone, please make sure the recipient is not sensitive to strong scents!!

Dandruff shampoo and conditioner bars.
My son has a little dandruff so he tried these out and was happy. He said that at first, he was skeptical of it as shampoo and conditioner as he had never used either in bar form, but he came around and really liked them both.He thinks the shampoo bar washes his hair very well and the conditioner makes his hair feel a bit more softer. In terms of dandruff, I noticed a bit less than unusual and said that this was “nice to notice.”He recommends.My only comment is that I wish inside the box there was some kind of indication which is which. I had to look at this product page online and let my son know.

Great set of bar shampoo/conditioner product
This bar set works for helping the scalp, however there is a learning curve for using shampoo and conditioner bars over bottled products. We are so used to instant pours from bottles, which is easy to lather up our hair. The bars take a little getting used to, but ultimately work well. I found these little nylon bags to hand them in as well as lathering them up inside to get the maximum product to soap up and condition my hair. The fragrance is floral and they last quite a while, especially if you don’t shampoo everyday. They come packaged in a nice gift box and the price is less them some of the pricier brands out there.

Amazing Lather and Fragrance!
The Anti-Dandruff Shampoo and Conditioner Bars came in an elegant display box. The shampoo and the conditioner were both circular and the same shade of pale pink. The tops of the bars have a decorative imprint design that also states which one is conditioner and which one is shampoo. This design and name are only helpful until the top of the bars get rubbed down. I personally can only tell which bar is which because the conditioner bar is taller (as shown in the picture I’ve provided). To help keep the imprint intact, I have only rubbed the bars on the bottom side and carefully kept them out of the direct spray of the shower.The fragrance is lovely! They have a significant floral scent, but it’s not overwhelming. They leave a subtle fragrance lingering in my hair, which is perfect.The shampoo bar produces a thick lather with minimal rubbing against wet hair. It cleans thoroughly.The conditioner bar works well when I rub the bar along the length of my hair.I have been using the shampoo and conditioner bars for a few weeks and they really will last a long time.

I love that this set comes with separate bars for shampoo and conditioner. I have wanted to try bar shampoo but I only ever see shampoo. I like that this has both that are formulated to use together. They have a lovely smell and they come packaged really well. They present so well and would look great as a gift.My only issue is that the 2 bars are very close in color. Once the labels of Shampoo and Conditioner wear off the bars with use, it’ll be hard to tell them apart. The conditioner bar is thicker but that could also change with wear use over time. One should be a totally different color pink. Hopefully the manufacturer reads this and makes that change.

Luxurious lather and softens hair
Smells divine! Lathers up nicely. Rinses easily and conditions well. My hair is soft and silky. No plastic waste! Adorable and probably giftable presentation if you desired. One bar was quite a bit thicker than the other. Shown in photos.
