Just ok, nothing special though

These are not very heavily scented. Blue Heaven Isle smells like tuberose which I like but the jungle safari scent is barely noticeable. You also need to be prepared to twist these for a while before anything happens. When the oil finally gets to the dispenser these sputter a little bit and make a mess since the oil goes flying. The tip is a rubber cuticle pusher style instead of a brush. The pens are solid plastic so you can’t see how much is left in the pen. You’re just left guessing if you are about to run out.I didn’t find these to be as moisturizing as a lot of other people did. I have dry crispy cuticles and after the product has soaked it, they look and feel the same. There’s really no improvement. I appreciate that they have used a nice blend of oils but the scents fall flat and so does the formula.For those that care, these are only designed in the USA and manufactured in another country.

Cuticle Oils

These organic cuticle oils are perfect for those who have dry hands as well as cuticles. They are the perfect size and are able to fit easily within a handbag or within the car not showing buldge or taking up too much space. The appearance of the oil set is nice, the design is nice as well. The oils are easy to apply as well as very effective for applying to your hands and cuticles. The best factor of these oils is that they are very moisturizing and not greasy at all, that is a perk for cuticle oils.

Amazing cuticle oil!

I absolutely love this Apuree Organic Cuticle Oil Set! The fact that it comes with 6 different 100% pure oils makes it such a great value and perfect for customizing nail care based on what my cuticles need that day. Each oil feels lightweight, absorbs well, and leaves my cuticles deeply moisturized without feeling greasy.My cuticles were dry and cracked, and after consistent use I’ve noticed them looking healthier, softer, and my nails feel stronger and are growing better too. Comfortable, and easy to use

I’ve tried to get into a routine with using cuticle oil, but I’m pretty bad using it consistently. I think one of my issues is the fact that most of the applicator types feel like a lot of work. The ones with roller balls seem to take a lot to get them started, and they don’t have as consistent an application of the cuticle oil. The ones with nail polish type brushes feel like they’re in danger of spilling all over the place, if you make a wrong move, and are not very portable. The pen ones with the bristles on the end are nice, except that my dog doesn’t like the clicky noise, so I always know it’s going to wind him up if I start using one. Also, it’s tough to tell when you need to twist it to get more, until it runs out.These ones looked a little different, so I figured I’d try them out. It turns out, they’re essentially just the twisty clicky pen type, except that you can’t see through the container, to visually judge how much of the cuticle oil remains. They look quite a bit fancier, starting with the box they come in, and because you can’t see through the tube, but I think that’ll be annoying when they start going low- you won’t know until they quit working.I do like the portability of them, though. They don’t seem to be in danger of leaking if you throw them in a purse or on your nightstand, etc.The applicator end is a pretty comfortable silicone or similar material, and I like that you can see the little bead of oil as it comes out, which helps you get a consistent amount, since you can visually monitor when you have to twist it again. It’s also not too greasy, and absorbs into my skin nicely.Another consideration of mine, when trying out different cuticle oils, is the smell. I don’t really like most smells, so I appreciate the ones that are labeled with scents that I recognize, so that I can brace myself/avoid ones that I’m not fond of. These ones are labeled, but not by scent. They have names like “Unbound Self” and “Jungle Safari”, which means nothing to me. They all smell very similar to me, if they are supposed to have different scents, but it’s not offensive to my sensitive nose, so I consider that a pro, in my book.I appreciate the sustainability features that they’ve listed, but I’ll just have to take their word for the “Corn-derived biodegradable tubes”. They feel like normal plastic to me. I’m not saying that I doubt it, necessarily, but I figured I’d point it out, for those who dislikes the use of plastic straws, but also can’t handle the texture/usage conditions of paper straws. This doesn’t feel like a “paper straw” situation to me. It feels very sturdy, and if it is more biodegradable than normal plastic, that sounds good to me!Overall, I think they look fancy, the scent(s?) isn’t (aren’t) overwhelming, they’re very portable, and at least seem to be environmentally conscious. The applicator is nice, because it allows you to see how much is coming out at a time, and it’s comfortable to use. The biggest con is just the fact that you can’t see through the tube at all, to monitor the amount you have left, before you run out.

Great oil, bad applicator

This product has the potential of being a really great product. Unfortunately, the execution fell just a little short.Pros: I love the oil in the pens. After 4 applications (two morning and two night) my cuticles are already in better shape. I love the idea of different scents. I can’t smell a difference, but I have a pretty poor sense of smell, so that doesn’t mean anything. I love that the oil is in little tubes that you could potentially take on the go. The oil absorbs quickly so you aren’t left with oily cuticles for very long after application.Cons: The construction of the applicators fell a little short. The directions indicate you may need to twist several times while applying even pressure the first time to get oil. I had to twist about 20 times. When the oil did finally come out it burst, getting more oil on my counter than staying on the applicator. Subsequent attempts yielded the same results. There is no way to tell how much oil is in each pen, so there’s no way to know when it’s out. Because of the very uneven oil release from the pen, I could either keep trying to get oil out of an empty pen (not realizing it’s empty) or potentially throw away oil thinking it’s gone when it isn’t.This is a really great concept, I just think the applicators need a little more work. The oil itself is great.

Be careful how much you turn when starting a new pen

I really like this cuticle oil set. I especially like the rubber tips on these pens. They are very easy to maneuver and rub on my nails and cuticles compared to brushes. But I did have a problem getting one of them started. I turned many clicks and still no oil came out…..but then it came gushing out so fast and there was too much I couldn’t really use it all. So I would be careful how many times you turn the clicks…I guess go slow instead of being impatient like me. The scents are mild and nice as well. The oils soaked into my nails and cuticles very nicely and I ended up spreading it all over my hands since I had so much.
