Great addition
I was looking for larger tweezers and the definitely fit the bill. They are larger than I expected but for my purpose they are fine. The end is broader than toenail clippers, just to give a general idea. You can grab a “fistful” of hair with these tweezers. They are not too heavy to manage and are very solid feeling. Not bad at all for inexpensive tools. The handle is not bulky so you can grip them easily.

Not Your Average Tweezers
I don’t exactly live a tweezer-heavy lifestyle. My use is pretty limited to plucking the occasional rogue hair or digging out splinters. For years, I’ve been swiping my wife’s tweezers for these tasks. But the last time I asked to borrow hers, I got a firm, “Don’t ruin them,” so I figured it was time to get my own.I must have skimmed right past the product dimensions when ordering these because I was honestly caught off guard by the size of the tips when they arrived. I was expecting wide-tipped tweezers, sure, but these tips are huge by tweezer standards. I really like the wide butterfly-shaped grip. It adds stability and feels much more comfortable in hand than my wife’s skinny tweezers. The leather-like case is also a nice bonus. It protects the tips and makes it easy to toss them in a drawer without worrying about damage. Honestly, though, these things are so heavy-duty, I think the drawer bottom would take more damage than the tweezers would.Since I didn’t have a splinter handy and wasn’t about to give myself one in the name of testing, I asked my wife, our in-house tweezer expert, to give these a shot. She mentioned that they aren’t ideal for things like eyebrow shaping. She prefers her slant-tip tweezers and found these a bit too bulky for that kind of work. While she was able to isolate individual hairs using the corners of the tips, it wasn’t the most comfortable or natural motion for her. That said, she was impressed with how well they grabbed and pulled multiple hairs at once. On flatter areas of skin, they did a great job with fewer passes than usual. She also noted that they performed equally well on both coarse and fine hairs.Overall, I’m very happy with these tweezers. They’re comfortable, sturdy, and easily the most unique pair I’ve ever seen. I also don’t think I’ll ever have to worry about my wife stealing them, as they’re not dainty enough for her eyebrow work, which means these bad boys are all mine!

User-friendly and practical
I didn’t even know one could get tweezers this wide and when I first saw the listing I knew it was something I could really use. Very versatile and works like a charm for whatever you need to grab with it. As I age, my eyesight has gotten worse. No real surprise, but I should, and don’t, always have a magnifying glass or my close-up reading glasses right next to me. In an ironic turn of events, I got a small something in my foot when walking barefoot in my kitchen. I hopped to my chair where these tweezers were and even though I couldn’t easily see what was still in my foot, I aimed these tweezers where the pain was and pulled. Boom. The strong grasp got it. It was a small piece of glass in there and the tweezers are wide enough to cover a larger area so it was so easy to get it out. Guess I was destined to order these, eh?They give you a really nice case to keep them in. The butterfly tweezers are high quality, thick, strong, reliable and beautifully made of stainless steel. A great size at 4.25” long and .75” wide at the tweezing end. Some of my photos are magnified so you can see the build and the detail. Since the listing suggests them for pulling multiple hairs at one time for those with a “sparse beard”, plus ingrown hair or eyebrows, I can imagine that they would work wonders for this. As an older adult, they are perfect and so easy to hold with arthritis in my hands — using this as a larger pull-tool for a wide variety of things. It wasn’t on my bingo card to like any kind of tweezers this much, but I highly recommend them.

Huge space for gripping AND grabbing – my weak hands love it
For some reason, when I got this, I thought there was a wide place to grip and a small tweezer field – I was delighted to realize that the finger grip area AND the hair grip area are huge! It’s a lot easier for my busted hands to manage, and as long as I’m in the right area, I’m sure to catch the hair I’m aiming for. The tweezers themselves are good and sturdy, as is the (kind of silly, but nice quality) case they’re stored in. My other half say’s it’s really useful for cleaning up the edge of his beard, because it holds so much. That sounds pretty awful to me, but hey, you do you.
