Works good
I’ve been using the L’ange Le Ceramique for years, after switching from the CHI when they first came out. The L’ange is fine, just doesn’t seem to flatten the hair as much as the CHI, and is a little difficult to curl with, so I’ve recently been looking for something different. Then I saw this. I used this strictly for straightening yesterday. I have fine 2C/3A hair, but a lot of it. Most of the sections this passed over once. I did have several sections that required a second pass, and a few that required three or more. This is more than with my L’ange. I typically can cover all of my hair with no more than two passes. However, I can say that I was more pleased with the overall appearance of my hair. It didn’t look as dry. It had more volume. I typically have dents near my scalp, and I didn’t with this product. So even though the process was a little longer, the outcome was better. For the price, it is definitely worth it.

Really easy to use
I have zero coordination when it comes to curling my hair and I’d basically give up on being able to do it quickly. I have an AirWrap and while I love it, it takes f o r e v e r. This was so much easier to use for giving myself some quick curls for volume. It included a silicone mat to prevent burning my counters. It does get very hot and I had to be careful about burning my fingers the first two times I used it but once I got the hang of it, it was very simple. Works to either curl or straighten which is also great? Dual functionality helps get rid of having extra clutter in my bathroom. It’s relatively lightweight — when I first opened the box I thought it felt flimsy to be honest but it’s really held up and works well.

Great styling tool.
This is like an all in one styling tool. It works really well for what it is. It can straighten your hair, provide some curl or wave, and also dry your hair. My hair is a little fragile and I don’t normally use heat styling products very often, but this really didn’t seem to cause any harm to my hair at all. Depending on how much hair you have to style, and the style you want, it doesn’t take that long. Straightening is very fast, and curling is a lot easier than I thought it would be. It gets hot fast, but there are different heat settings that you can use. I used the lowest setting on my hair, and it still works great.

Great for its Value

Perfect for travel
I’ll admit, when I saw the words “2 in 1 dual straightener/curler” I thought it would be a bit more impressive than just, a straightener with a curved barrel on the outside so you can twist it, but this is impressive in its simplicity.I’m very impressed with this curling iron!! I usually use a ceramic wand for curling, but I used to exclusively use a straighter (when I had short hair) so this feels very familiar to me… however, it’s much more natural-feeling than my old straightener, due to the deliberate curve of the barrel for curling. It curls pretty quickly, has a lot of heat settings, and creates a nice, gentle curl that eventually settles into a pretty wave. My hair is really long and it took me less than 20 minutes to curl all of it. It works really well on my thick, long hair, but I do feel like it would be even better on a short bob. It’s VERY easy to use, to twist and use for curling as well as straightening (that’s pretty intuitive.) The kit also came with everything you’d need, including a heat mat, wide tooth comb, and even a velcro fastener on the cord (LOVE this detail – I get so sick of having to wrap the cable just right with my hair irons.)Also, I really feel like the cooling fan feature is SUPER innovative! It keeps my hair from getting superheated and I think it helps it hold a curl longer. It also makes it possible to touch the barrel without burning yourself, which is always a win. In case you don’t like the noise, there is an option to turn that off.Honestly, with how versatile, effective, and travel ready this iron is, I would have expected the price to be higher! Right now it’s around $50 and that is a steal for this iron. I really wish I’d had this last summer for my Europe trip when I had to pack super light. This would have been a game changer!

Easy to use, straightens and curls, locks in style!
I love a multi-function tool and this one is great for both straightening and curling. Inner plates get nice at hot. Hair glides through smoothly and plates are long and wide enough to be effective in just one pass. Twisting the iron while clamping a section of hair on the barrel will produce a springy long lasting curl. The cool air that flows around the barrel actually sets the curl in place as in comes off the wand. It’s possible to vary the tightness of the curl by varying the size of the section, tension placed on the strand and how quickly or slowly you move the wand through the hair. Mid-range price point. Overall, a pretty great, easy to use tool that gives great results. Comes with a protective heat mat and a wide toothed rat-tail styling comb. Round up to 4.5 stars.

This hair straightener was okay. It is not ideal for thick hair because of its size. It doesn’t fit a lot of hair like some do and it took a couple of passes over each section to get it straight. It got the job done: it’s just time consuming. It heated up fairly quickly and the silicone mat that came with it was nice. Overall, I can neither recommend nor not recommend this product.
