    It’s gift for my wife because her old curling iron was broken. I am an electronics R&D engineer with 15 years experience, she trusted that I could select the best curling iron for her. Yes, I did!My first concern is safety. This one, the hot barrel is shielded inside, and double layer shielded, a far better anti-scaled design from my professional experience. I used the thermometer in our lab to test it after i got the curler. 430 Fahrenheit after 30 minutes, the outer case temperature was 56.2 Celsius，little bit hot, but completely safe to touch; and the end of the black rod was 21.1 Celsius.My second reason why i choosed this hot barrel shielding design is it can reduces heat loss.The principle of curling hair is quite simple, let hair be heated quickely and evenly, and then a circular force is applied to shape it. The case can lock the heat inside the curling chamber, allowing the hair to be heated more evenly. And the inner case is electroplated, which is extra plus. Electroplating makes the surface of the inner case as smooth as a mirror, can constantly reflecting heat and further reduce heat loss.My second concern is convenience. there are many automatic curling irons all can spin and curl hair automatically, but this one is the only one with hair guider rod, a new concept. It acts as a kind of third eye at the back side, very useful, especially for hair in back side of head. I used to have to help my wife curl the back of her hair, but now she can do it by herself.

    good product but not suitable for my needs.I bough it because right now I am in a place with a high percentage of humidity and my hair is frizzy..Unfortunately with this iron it’s not easy to reach the hair roots and therefore my hair always comes out frizzy at the top and perfectly curled at the bottom

    Oh my goodness this was fantastic! I was really looking for something to use to style my hair. That was gentle and I absolutely love how this curling iron works.     This is a great curler very easy to use it’s very quick and the curls are very defined. It would work better for longer hair mines a little short for it but it’s still curl my hair and underwear and the and the curls held all day. Fast delivery and great value for your money and it. The best thing is it doesn’t scalp your hands.

    The videos really caught my eyes, curling hair with eyes closed, it looks so easy. After using it for myself, I can totally say it’s just as simple as it looks, truly efforless curl within 10 minutes, and fool proof, and no burns. I want to share some of my opinions.1, The black hair guider rod really helps a lot to feed in hair more easily and quickly. Though it gives the curling iron a slight bulky look, when you consider its functional advantages, this small flaw is completely forgiveable.2, The second important function of the hair guider rod is that it allows you to curl the hair at the back of your head yourself. This is unmatched by other similar automatic curling iron, or rather, this curler makes it much easier to achieve.3. This curling iron is more suitable for medium to long hair. If you have short hair, you can try the method in the instruction. My hair isn’t short, so I can’t comment on that.4. Get some practice, and you’ll get the hang of it after one or two tries. Then you’ll love it.This is the best and easiest one I’ve ever used.
