Average Bros Buck Naked Unscented Utility Balm, 2 oz Tin
Sobre este item
- 2 OZ UTILITY BALM TIN: Average Bros Buck Naked unscented beard balm in a round black container, conditioning and moisturizing beard hair and the skin beneath it as part of a simple daily grooming routine.
- UNSCENTED FOR COLOGNE WEARERS: no added fragrance in the formula, so beard conditioning never competes with a signature scent - for the man who picks his cologne deliberately and wants grooming that stays quiet.
- SOFTENS COARSE FACIAL HAIR: the oil-and-butter texture works through wiry strands as it warms, conditioning each whisker and the skin below for a smoother, more deliberate look.
- SHEA BUTTER BEESWAX BLEND: sweet almond oil and vitamin E oil round out the four declared ingredients, so the same balm that shapes a beard also protects dry-feeling skin and tattooed areas.
- NO HEAVY GREASY FEEL: a fingernail scrape warmed between the palms melts near body temperature and works in evenly - flyaways tamed, a natural finish, light control instead of a stiff waxy shell.

Nice and seems to hold well
If you want a solid, no-nonsense balm that gets the job done without smelling like a forest or a cologne counter, this is it.What WorksZero Scent: It’s unscented… well actually there is a very light scent but that is just the ingredients. There’s no artificial fragrance or heavy natural mask to compete with your daily cologne, aftershave, or essential oils.Balanced Formula: The combination of shea butter and beeswax strikes the right middle ground. It melts down quickly in your palms without feeling gritty, applies smoothly, and leaves a clean, non-greasy finish.Versatile Utility: It works exceptionally well as a daily beard conditioner to tame stray hairs and soften coarse beard hair (the later is most appreciated here). Beyond the beard, it does double duty on dry knuckles, elbows, and fresh or healed tattoos to keep skin hydrated and colors crisp.Ideal Hold: The hold is light and natural. It provides enough structure to keep flyaways down without making your beard feel stiff or weighed down.Good to KnowBecause of the natural beeswax base, you’ll want to scoop a small, dime-sized amount and warm it thoroughly between your hands before applying. A little goes a long way, so the 2 oz tin lasts longer than you’d expect for its size.VerdictA dependable, small-batch multi-tool for skin, hair, and ink. Perfect for anyone who prefers effective daily care without added fragrances.

Unscented balm that tames the wild hairs
I picked up the Average Bros Buck Naked Unscented Utility Balm for my husband’s beard, eyebrows, and skin because I wanted something he could use for grooming without adding another fragrance to his routine. He particularly liked that this one is unscented, especially compared with some of my facial products that he has tried borrowing. The balm has a fairly thick consistency straight out of the tin, so he needs to warm a small amount between his hands before applying it. Once warmed, though, a little goes a long way. He uses it on his beard to tame the occasional wild hair, and it also works well on his eyebrows without leaving them looking stiff or overly styled. He likes using it after a shower because it helps seal in moisture and leaves his skin and beard feeling conditioned. I also appreciate that it does not have a strong scent competing with whatever cologne he chooses to wear.At $9.99 for a 2-ounce tin, I think this is a good value because such a small amount is needed each time. I would recommend it for someone looking for a multipurpose, unscented grooming balm with light hold rather than a heavy styling wax. The thick texture takes a little getting used to, but once it is warmed up, it is easy to work through the beard and gives him the combination of conditioning and taming he was looking for.

Great unscented balm for all the parts…
Since I already use their woodsy Workshop balm and like it, I figured I’d try this unscented Buck Naked utility balm from the same lineup. I like a good woodsy scent, but on days when I want to smell like just me or wear my actual cologne, the last thing I need is my beard balm competing with it. This stuff stays completely quiet and just does its job without shouting over whatever else I’m wearing.Texture-wise, it’s just as solid as the other one. A quick scrape with a fingernail melts easily between your hands and smooths down wiry strands without making your face look like an oil slick or feeling like a stiff candle shell. It relies on a super clean four-ingredient mix—shea butter, beeswax, sweet almond oil, and vitamin E. It works wonders on a coarse beard, but because it’s totally unscented, I’ve also been throwing it on dry elbows and knuckles. It completely clears out counter clutter because you can use it for basically anything that needs a quick shot of moisture. If you want a clean, stripped-down conditioner that works everywhere and lets your natural scent do the talking, this 2 oz tin is perfect.

Solid balm, weird name
I mostly grabbed this because I’m always losing little tins of hand balm and figured another one couldn’t hurt. The “Buck Naked” branding is a little much but the product itself is genuinely nice. It’s thick without being greasy, which is a hard balance to hit.I’ve been using it on my knuckles and elbows since they’re always cracked from dish soap, and this stuff actually stays put instead of rubbing off on my jeans in five minutes. The scent is super subtle—barely there—which I appreciate since I’m not trying to smell like a candle. Docking one star only because the tin’s a little hard to open one-handed. Otherwise solid.

Handles Scraggly Beards
For a long time, I kept my beard relatively short, but recently decided to grow it out further. Oh, boy. It’s like a whole new world of hair management. I was definitely approaching ‘scraggly’ territory before my wife, very politely, suggested some beard care products. Just kidding – she absolutely roasted me about it, and I was forced to take action. This stuff is very nice. It only takes a very small amount and, once warmed up, is very smooth and pliable. It has helped tremendously with keeping my beard hair in check without feeling like I’m rubbing hair gel through it. I’m sensitive to smells, and I really don’t like mixing a lot of different smells together, so I also appreciated that this was unscented. It does smell a little when first applied, but it didn’t last very long.Priced at $9.99 at the time of this review, it’s about where I’d expect to pay for a product like this, so no complaints there. Overall, a solid choice for a beard balm.

Great for skin and hair
This balm is marketed to men but the ladies can use it, too! It has only 4 ingredients – shea butter, beeswax, sweet almond oil, and vitamin E oil. There’s no fragrance to clash with other scents or to cause allergies. All I can smell is the shea butter and it’s a very faint, mild scent.I love that it’s made in the USA.It’s in a tin with a screw top so the top won’t pop off while traveling or carrying in a bag/backpack.I like it a lot and only a very small amount is needed. It’s firm so scrape out a tiny amount and allow it to warm for a few seconds so it becomes spreadable. I use it after washing my hands so it seals in the moisture and makes my hands feel soft. I rub it into my cuticles and it gives my nails a nice shine. If I have excess on my hands and my hair has flyaways I’ll run my hands lightly over or through my hair to tame them (I often use light oils on my hair and it doesn’t make my fine hair feel greasy). If you feel like your palms and fingertips are too greasy, wipe your hands on a towel and use a little less next time.I think it’s a good value at $9.99.Reviewing: Product Movement Average Bros Buck Naked Unscented Utility Balm, 2 oz Tin

Simple, Unscented, and Versatile
I like the simplicity of this balm. It has a short ingredient list with shea butter, beeswax, sweet almond oil, and vitamin E. There’s no added fragrance, which is great if you don’t want your beard product competing with your cologne. It goes on relatively smooth once you scrape some out with a fingernail then warm a small amount between your hands. It does a good job softening your beard or mustache while keeping those stray hairs under control. The hold is light, so it doesn’t leave your beard feeling too stiff or greasy like some other balms, or with a bunch of residue. I also like that this product can be used on more than just the beard. It works well for dry skin and other areas that need a little extra moisture, making the small, round 2 oz tin pretty convenient for traveling. Pop it in your pocket, or bag to have around during the day.Overall, this is a straightforward, multipurpose balm without a lot of unnecessary ingredients or fragrance. At $9.99, I think it’s a good value if you’re looking for something simple and unscented.

Feels nice
This is a review for Buck Naked Unscented Utility Balm, 2 oz Tin by Average Bros, ASIN B0HBRT1DVPThis balm arrives in a plastic package. Its container is a black tin with a screw on lid. It has a white label that has directions for use and ingredients. This is easy to use. You scrape a bit of the product with your nail, rub it between your hands to make it melt, and then apply to skin and/ or hair. For some reason, they put a sticker over my ingredients list. The Amazon listing says the full ingredient list is: shea butter, beeswax, sweet almond oil, and vitamin E oil. They seem to have a good ratio of these ingredients. It is solid at 80F, but melts in my hands. It absorbs easily and doesn’t feel greasy if you use it lightly. It feels moisturizing and offers a thin protective barrier.I like that this is unscented. It doesn’t have a fragrance that would compete with other products you may be using. Also, you don’t have to worry about potentially having an allergic reaction to it.
