Well Made, But Didn’t Deliver Lasting Results for Fine Hair
I really wanted to love this waver because it does have some great features. It heats up very fast, feels sturdy, and is clearly well-made. The design is thoughtful, and I especially appreciate that the heat settings are placed inside rather than on the handle — that’s a nice touch that prevents accidental changes while styling.Unfortunately, the performance just didn’t work for me. The timer was inconsistent and didn’t always work, so I found myself counting manually to avoid burning my hair. It also took going over my hair twice to get the look in my picture.The biggest issue was that the waves didn’t hold. By the time I made it all the way around my head, the sections I started with were already falling out and losing their shape. I have fine hair, and even when following the instructions, the results just didn’t last. On top of that, my hair ended up looking a bit frizzy rather than smooth, beachy waves.I was honestly bummed because I had high hopes for this. It may work better for others, especially those with thicker hair, but if you have soft, fine hair like mine, it might be a struggle to get lasting results. I would recommend doing some research before spending the money.
