Great Reach and Lots of Attachments, but the 7-Head Shaver Is Only Average
Decent kit if your main issue is reaching your back, as the biggest advantage is the long extension handle. The handle extends far enough to reach the middle and lower back without requiring awkward twisting, and the adjustable angle makes it much easier to cover areas that are normally difficult to reach on your own. The kit tries to be an all-in-one and includes a surprisingly large assortment of attachments for back, head, face, and nose grooming, along with cleaning brushes and a storage bag. Everything feels reasonably sturdy, and switching between the different heads is quick and easy.The main 7-head rotary shaver is very flexible and follows the curves of your body back well, but its actual cutting performance is somewhat mixed. The shaver speed is great and it covers a large area quickly, but it doesn’t always maintain great contact with the skin and can leave behind quite a few hairs. It works better on shorter hair, so if your back hair is longer, you’ll probably get better results by trimming it down first and then using the rotary head for maintenance. The separate razor/trimmer attachment does a better job when you want a closer and more even cut.The other attachments are nice bonuses, although some make more sense than others. The nose-hair attachment works, for example, but using it with such a large shaver body feels a little awkward. This kit tries to do a lot, and I wouldn’t expect every attachment to replace a dedicated grooming tool.There are things that could be better. The handheld shaver body can feel somewhat slippery, the protective cover for the 7-head attachment doesn’t stay on particularly well. Also really dislike that is has a proprietary cable instead of an industry standard USB-C.In all this is most useful for someone whose biggest problem is simply being able to reach their own back. The extension handle genuinely solves that problem, and the kit gives you plenty of options for grooming different areas. It’s a decent value overall, the 7-head rotary shaver itself is decent rather than exceptional, but with the other attachments and the ability to shave your back without assistance, it’s still a useful and versatile grooming set.

This multi-use shaver has been a handy addition to my grooming toolset. In addition to being the advertised telescoping back/body shaver, it is useful as a handheld nose, sideburns and short beard trimmer. And apparently a rotating head brush if you’re into that.The shaver is detachable from the boom at which time it becomes handheld, it’s curved body conforming to your palm and handgrip. The shape of the handheld trimmer is comfortable, but doesn’t really lend itself to high precision tasks such as, well, nose trimming or beard/mustache edging.Back to the shaver attachment, I’ve found that it cuts close enough and is able to cover a lot of area on your body quickly; granted, it’s not the closeness of a dedicated face shaver, but I don’t use this any more frequently than once maybe twice a month anyway. I like how the heads open up on hinges and allow for quick and easy cleaning under the faucet.If you are someone who shaves their head daily, maybe do a more detailed comparison of how close you want your shave vs the other options out there. Otherwise this a a good value for your hard earned dollar.

If you have to go solo on back shaving, this could be a good option
When I showed this to my husband upon ordering he was thrilled. He had a number of different skull shavers as he shaves his head, and has had several back shavers over the years as well. This is a combo of both for him to try to tackle that back hair on his own. The set comes with a lot of different accessories and attachments. I did appreciate the shaver came charged and ready to use right out of the box. I was able to quickly snap on the head to the extension rod and voila, were in business. It reached to the middle and lower back on my husband’s back without issue. I will say, while it reaches all over, and the head is able to follow the curve of the back, it doesn’t keep great contact so it does a medium job of actually cutting the hair evenly. I ended up taking off the 7 head attachment and going with the razor attachment and got after it. That attachment works well and is sharp enough to get the closer cut.Overall, the set covers multiple areas and it will do the job decently well if my husband has to do it on his own, but it won’t be a replacement for wifey help in the back shaving department. The set feels durable and has cleaning brushes included to get things tidied up after use. The price point of around $80 is average on the market for these types of sets. I would say it would be more worthwhile to have a good electric razor and skull shaver separately, but if you don’t have someone to help you handle your back, this is a great option!

Open Box Seal and an Unsealed Razor
This body shaver kit comes with a nice assortment of accessories, including an adjustable long handle and multiple attachments, so I was looking forward to trying it.Unfortunately, I wasn’t comfortable using it because of the way it arrived. The only seal on the package was a small sticker on the outside of the box, and it was already open when I received it. The razor head itself wasn’t sealed or wrapped in any way.For a personal grooming product that comes into direct contact with skin and has the potential to nick or cut you, I would expect the product to have more secure tamper protection, whether that meant a sealed box, shrink wrap or some other protective seal.Because of that, I decided not to use the product, so I can’t comment on how well it works. I think buyers should know how the product is packaged before purchasing. For me this was a deal-breaker.
