Good for skin and hair, pleasant fragrance
I hadn’t heard of batana oil before — I actually looked it up: “Batana oil is a natural oil extracted from the nuts of the American oil palm (Elaeis oleifera), primarily found in Honduras.” I suffer from itchy scalp every winter, and a web search recommended batana oil. My wife and I have both tried it and we like it. I used it last night and no itchy scalp today! I’ve read that it can help with hair loss if you use it regularly, but I haven’t been using it long enough to comment on that. It has a pleasant, sweet fragrance. The recommended use is to apply it about 20 minutes before shampooing it out, and I can say that you will definitely need to do that “lather, rinse, repeat” thing here, because you won’t get it fully removed with a single shampooing. I also tried it on my hands, since the label said it could be used on your skin anywhere, and I would say the skin on the back of my hands is less dry now.

My Experience with Batana Oil
I’ve been using the 100% Unrefined Organic Batana Oil for a few weeks now, and overall, it’s a decent product with some noticeable benefits. Here’s my experience:After a few applications, my hair did feel softer and more manageable.I noticed slightly less hair breakage when combing or washing my hair. I can’t say it’s a dramatic change though.Applying the oil before every wash and leaving it on for 20 minutes can be a bit of a hassle if you’re short on time. However, it does absorb quickly and rinses out easily, which is a plus.I like that it’s organic and packed with nutrients like omega-6, omega-9, and vitamins.This oil isn’t a miracle product, but it does offer some noticeable benefits.

Exceptional shine, hydration n less fallout
So it has been over a month of regular use. I wash my hair and apply some batana oil/balm like consistency and rub it into my scalp front and back and any residue in my hand I rub it into my hair and give my head a massage.I have left it in for 30 mins to over an hour at times. I usually like to do this 2 to 3x a week for first few weeks then start reducing down to 2x a week now 1x a week.I prefer this texture of batana over the super liquid oil because it is more manageable for me, less running and a lot less greasy.It does take 2 to 3x shampooing it all out and then I continue with my regular hair routine which is conditioner.I do not use any products like gel or mousse for hair drying.What you are seeing is the shine post hair drying with no products at all.I find my scalp is so nice n hydrated or moisturized that I don’t feel itchy or dry scalp as much as I did in the past.I get regular compliments ahow insanely soft and shiny my hair appears and that makes me feel really good.I am all about the basics, natural as possible and low maintenance. This fits the bill. A little goes a long way. This container will last me months.Another great plus is how much stronger my hair roots have gotten bc I don’t see much hair fallout when I am shampooing or drying my hair so that makes me feel amazing. It gives my hair a chance to grow healthier and that’s always nice. The product smells lovely and I am very happy using this product on a regular basis.

4.2 OZ Raw Batana Oil to help Hair Growth for Men and Women
I discovered Organic Raw Batana Oil this year for my hair and I have been more than pleased with the result. In my particular case since I have low thyroid and even with meds my hair tends to break off and/or go dull. After using this product my hair which tends to be dry, became visibly shiny plus more manageable and although there is no “magic” result to hair loss, it does help my hair not to be as fragile anymore so it appears thicker. This oil, in my opinion moisturizes my hair and I definitely see that it is less frizzy now. I especially like how easy it is to use. I simply wash and dry my hair as usual then apply a small amount of the oil to my scalp and using my fingertips massage it until it is mostly absorbed, then just brush it through my hair and in my case I see the shine right away.
