    Such a Useful Batiste Variety Pack

    Batiste is my go to so I like having a few different formulas around depending on what my hair needs that day. Original is great for a quick refresh, Volumizing gives my roots extra lift and texture, and I like using Overnight before bed so my hair feels fresher in the morning. All three absorb oil well and help me stretch the time between washes. I especially like that they don’t just cut the oily look, they also make my hair easier to style. Really practical variety pack if you’re already a Batiste fan or want to try a few formulas out.

    Great sample bundle but not sure how different these products are to the regular Batiste Dry Shampoo

    Batiste is the best dry shampoo ever, so I was so excited to have the opportunity to test out and review this Batiste 3-pack with 3 products I have never had the chance to try. These are the small bottles, just to be clear with expectations, so keep that in mind when purchasing as that may affect the value for your money compared to other Batiste bundles.My favorite of the bunch was the Overnight Deep Cleanse treatment. The scent is soooo good! I wish this scent was available in the regular variety of scents because I’d totally switch over to it. This one is meant to be sprayed in your hair at night, and then when you wake up, you brush it out and hair looks fresh and clean. I have tried as an overnight product as well as using it during the day, and both uses work well and are up to the standards I have come to expect from Batiste products. I don’t know if I’m sold on the “deep cleanse” aspect of it because it works pretty much like the regular products, aside from the fact that it has less of the white residue. It may just have more alcohol in the formulation to help dry out your hair and make it fresh when you wake up. I haven’t noticed it being extra drying, but as an avid dry shampoo user, my hair isn’t exactly squeaky clean to begin with so it’s hard to tell.The other ones are not as interesting as the Overnight one, but they work well and smell delicious. The Volumizing product works great and definitely does add more body and volume to limp hair in between washes, but I’m not sure how much different it is to the volumizing effect you’d get from the regular dry shampoo. It might just be a gimmick or way to market something that already adds body to hair in between washes, but I haven’t noticed anything terribly different about it.The third product is just your baseline Batiste classic, maybe to give you something to compare the other options to. This one is exactly what it claims to be – just your regular dry shampoo for daily use, and it works fantastic, as all Batiste products do. The biggest difference in these products vs the regular ones are the scents, and I actually do wish that Batiste would include some of these more grown and sexy scents to their lineup.Overall I am happy with this set and was thrilled to be able to test out a few products I haven’t tried. However, I’m not sure the markup on these more specialty products are worth it. Great sample set though and I will use every last ounce of these dry shampoos and would consider repurchasing if the price was right.
