lightweight but hydrating for 3C/4A hair
This is a nice, hydrating oil with no unnecessary ingredients. I like that it’s a simple blend of natural oils with no artificial perfumes or added scents. Good hair moisturizer.
I tend to have split ends as my hair gets longer and as I’m growing it out I thought I’d give this a try. The first thing you’ll notice is the dropper end. It’s different as it doesn’t taper but ends flat with a small beveled edge. It’s a design I haven’t seen before and it works very well. The top cap of the bottle is fitted to the dropper circumference so as you pull the dropper out of the bottle the top cap drags excess oil from around the dropper tube helping to keep things clean and less wasteful.This doesn’t have a strong smell but it does smell. Even after washing my hair and having not applied the oil since the morning earlier a very feint smell of it could be detected. I considered it a good thing as it seems it has absorbed into the hair and shampooing removes only what hasn’t. I’ve used this for a week now, applying in the morning to help nourish my hair and control the bedhead curls. When first applying it’s clear there’s product being used but after an hour or two my hair just looks naturally shiny and not greasy. Also, I’d like to point out that my pillow case hasn’t been greasy or stained, nor does it smell of this product.Of course I can’t comment on the hair growth aspect yet but just for the hydration alone I think it’s well worth the price. From what I’ve used (liberally) this first week it looks like this would last 2-3 months with daily use, longer with applying every 3 days or as needed. Overall I like the smell and the results I’ve seen thus far.

Great strengthening hair oil.
This oil does have a slight smell to it. It’s probably the castor oil. The oil massaged nicely into my scalp and moisturized my skin well. It helped to restore the shine of my hair. I liked that it comes in a 2 oz bottle as I used about 1/2 tsp. for my entire head and hair.
