You have… ventilation.He was expecting a roll-on applicator, because in his mind hair growth should be applied like deodorant. When he opened the box and saw a dropper, the betrayal was instant. He held it up like it was a lab instrument and said, “What am I supposed to do with THIS?” I told him: “Science, apparently.”Application:He dabbed it on the three remaining loyal soldiers on his scalp — the ones that have stuck with him through 35+ years of hair abandonment. He tried to “spread it around,” but there wasn’t enough hair to spread anything to. Our friends with comb-overs could at least make a crop circle. The Old Man doesn’t have enough acreage to outline a parking spot.Scent & Feel:Smells like rosemary and hope. Absorbs quickly. No greasiness. Too Soon to Judge Hair Growth, but We Can Judge the Serum

My husband has not been using this serum long enough for me to honestly say whether or not it promotes hair growth. I am rating it based on our experience with the product so far rather than making a claim about results that would take considerably longer to determine.The serum is not difficult to apply, although I was surprised by the packaging. The product was shown in a rollerball-style bottle, but the one I received came in a dropper bottle. The dropper works fine, but it was not what I expected.The serum itself is fairly oily. Surprisingly, it doesn’t leave my husband’s hair looking noticeably greasy, although it does weigh his hair down somewhat. He doesn’t particularly like the oily feeling, so he tends to rinse some of it out rather than leaving all of the product on his scalp.One thing we both like is the scent. It smells clean and fresh without being unpleasant or overpowering.The bottle is labeled as 50 ml, but the bottle I received did not contain what appeared to be 50 ml of serum. There was noticeable empty space in the bottle when it arrived. I just wish it were a little less oily and that the bottle had arrived with the amount of product I expected.

Lightweight and not greasy, but it is not a roll-on

I was a little confused by the listing because the description repeatedly calls this a roll-on serum, but the product I received has a standard dropper-style dispenser, exactly like the one shown in the main product photo. The dropper still makes it fairly easy to apply directly to the scalp, but the listing should be corrected so customers know what they are receiving.This hair serum is otherwise just what I was looking for. I was already familiar with rosemary and its potential benefits for the scalp, but Redensyl was new to me. According to the label, the formula contains 3% rosemary, 3% Redensyl, 2% Aminexil, and 2% Anagain. My daughter had been asking for a hair-growth serum because she was concerned about some thinning around the front of her hairline. Her hair also happens to reach almost to her knees, so I’m not entirely convinced she is suffering from a shortage of hair, but here we are.The serum is supposed to be applied at night and left on for at least six hours. We generally leave it in rather than washing our hair the following morning, so I especially appreciate that it feels lightweight and does not leave our hair looking noticeably greasy. It is much too soon to determine whether it will improve hair density or encourage new growth, but the formula and texture have made a good first impression. I will update my review after we have used it consistently for a longer period.

Easy to apply and doesn’t leave my hair greasy But didn’t come in a roller

This actually came with a dropper instead of the roller applicator shown in the listing, which was a little disappointing because I was specifically looking forward to the roller. That said, the serum itself has been really easy to use. I just put a few drops on my fingertips first so I have better control over how much I’m applying, then work it into the areas where I’m trying to get my hair to grow back thicker after postpartum hair loss.I’ve only used it twice so obviously I can’t speak to actual hair growth results yet, but so far I really like the formula. I applied it after showering and was still able to blow dry and style my hair normally afterward without my roots looking greasy or weighed down, which is a huge plus for me.I’ll definitely keep using it consistently to see how it does over time. I’m taking off one star mainly because what I received didn’t match the roller applicator shown in the listing.
