A sleek, lightweight, and compact hair dryer from BEAUTURAL with an impressively powerful fan. It’s easy to fold for travel or storage, and the detachable air filter is a thoughtful feature I haven’t seen on many dryers. It offers three heat and fan speed settings, and the standard cool shot button.That said, I didn’t find that it gets hot enough to smooth and de-frizz my long, thick, wavy hair. I can see this dryer working well for someone with naturally straighter hair, but for my hair, the stronger airflow combined with only moderate heat not only took longer to dry my hair but left me with a frizzy finish that still needed to be flat-ironed.If your hair is mostly straight and you’re looking for a travel friendly, dual-voltage dryer with very fast airflow, this one is a great choice. But, if you rely on higher heat to tame frizz and achieve a smoother, sleeker finish, there are brand name alternatives in this price range that I’d be more inclined to choose over this one.

I ordered this travel hair dryer for my wife and daughter, and wow, this compact unit packs a massive punch of power. The high-speed motor dries my wife’s shoulder-length hair very quickly in about two to three minutes. This is incredibly accurate per the item’s description. My daughter has much longer and thicker hair, so it takes her a bit longer, but it is still way faster than a traditional dryer.The size, weight, and portability are perfect. It is extremely lightweight, which means your arm does not get tired while styling. It is very compact when folded down, but simple to twist open and close when you are ready to use it. When it comes to noise, it is pleasantly quiet. It uses a high-speed brushless motor that creates a smooth, modern whir instead of the loud, roaring rattle of an old-school dryer. The fast airflow experience feels very comparable to a high-end dryer, or maybe even better, but it costs a fraction of the price and is much easier to pack.The functionality is excellent. There is an on and off switch on the back, three temperature and speed settings, and a dedicated button for a cold setting. It comes with one helpful airflow connector attachment, and the air filter easily detaches so cleaning it is a breeze. It also feels very safe to use thanks to the UL-certified ALCI safety plug and a generous 6-foot-long cord.This will be a perfect dryer to send my daughter off to college with since the dual voltage means she can take it anywhere. She did wish that it came with a round brush attachment, so she did not have to pack a separate styling brush, but that is a tiny issue. This is an awesome, powerful little travel companion.

This is a great hairdryer! It’s the lightest and smallest hairdryer I’ve ever used. It’s so much less tiring to blow dry with this. Despite its small size, it really packs a punch. I have super dense, thick, wavy, waist length low-porosity hair, and it usually takes me about 45 minutes to blow dry my hair with my old dryer. Hairdressers and salons are always running late on my appointments because they underestimate how long it takes my hair to dry (it takes about 18 hours to airdry).When I first used this dryer, it was nighttime and I was tired, so I thought I’d just quickly dry my roots and then go to bed with wet lengths. The dryer was so powerful, with concentrated airflow and actually good heat output that I went ahead and dried my lengths too, and did it in half the time.Because it’s so small and lightweight, I could see this being a great travel or gym bag hairdryer, or for people who have fatigue issues, or for people who don’t have a lot of storage space.

Powerful, Sleek Foldable Travel Hairdryer
This foldable travel hairdryer has more than enough power to dry my hair quickly. I use the cold-shot feature after heat styling and find it helps reduce frizz. For reference, I have fine hair but lots of it, and because it’s color-treated the texture is fairly coarse. I usually apply a light hair oil before blow-drying, and with this dryer I end up with virtually no noticeable frizz. That’s not always true with my full-size dryer.For its size it’s surprisingly powerful. It sounds more like a strong rush of air than the high-pitched, rattly whine I’ve heard from some compact dryers. It’s certainly not silent, but it’s quieter than I expected for the amount of airflow it produces. There are three distinct temperature settings and three fan speeds, with the active settings shown by colored indicator lights that are easy to see at a glance. I found it easy to adjust both with the same hand I was using to hold the dryer, and my fingers never accidentally hit the buttons while styling.There’s a slight delay when powering it on, but after that it responds immediately to button presses and shuts off quickly. It also reliably maintains whatever temperature and fan speed I select without drifting. For my hair, medium heat and high speed without the attachment work well for the initial drying. I then twist on the concentrator nozzle for styling with a round brush. The nozzle attaches and removes easily, yet stays securely in place while I’m using it. The dryer is also nicely balanced in my hand, feels very light, and the 4-inch handle circumference is comfortable for my smallish hands. The 5’3″ cord gives me enough room to work comfortably without feeling tethered to the outlet.Although it folds, I personally wouldn’t pack it for airline travel because it’s still about 10 inches long when folded. For road trips, though, I’d happily bring it. The included fabric pouch holds both the dryer and concentrator, and I appreciate that the barrel never becomes hot enough that I have to wait before folding it up and packing it away. The handle opens with a simple twisting motion rather than pulling straight down, and both the dryer and instructions make that clear. While this model supports dual voltage, I’ve only used it domestically, so I can’t comment on its performance overseas.I’m very pleased with both its performance and its clean, modern design.
