    Great brush, well made, dense soft bristles, HUGE tin

    Received today- can’t speak to the long term quality of the brush. The bristles are as advertised- boar, not some weird synthetic. The bristles are dense and appear not be prone to falling out. The handle is definitely walnut, well made with a nice low gloss finish. On the top of the brush there is a laser engraved logo and text.The tin is much larger than it needs to be. I had hoped it would be a closer fit to the brush so it would serve as a travel case. It’s 3/4″ taller and almost 1″ larger in diameter. It may not sound like a lot but it’s HUGE.I will be buying another so I have one ready to go in my dop kit. Nicely done brush!

    Great little beard brush!

    This little brush is amazing!It is a little more stiff when compared to my traditionally shaped boar’s hair beard brush but definitly not unpleasantly so. It is small enough to stick in a coat pocket and comes in a nice little package suitable for transport. The fit and finish are flawless on the item I recieved.Now, here is the great part. This brush is an excellent beard training tool! It very quickly straightens things up and leaves the hair soft and touchable. Great to finish up my morning grooming and equally so to retrain the hair throughout my day. I actually find myself brushing my beard a lot more often just because it is so convenient and feels really nice.Conclusion: a few dollars well spent on this one!

    I’d been using a beard comb and balm for a long time before trying this brush… my comb is 100% going in the bin now.A couple notes:-If you’ve never used a beard brush before, it can be a bit stiff on your skin. If the bristles were any less stiff, though, it wouldn’t penetrate into your bushy ol’ beard—so quit yer whinin’ and learn to love it.-As another reviewer suggested, you’ll want to roll the bristles around in your hand for a bit, then maybe run a comb through them. This will help loosen and pull out any bristles that may be slightly loose. Just do this before you use it the first few times and you’ll be golden from then on.-The walnut wood is top notch, and this feels 100% quality in your hands.-If you’ve got an extra-long facebush or are short on time, consider a larger brush. This is smaller than palm-sized for my meathooks.-The cylindrical chipboard box in which the brush comes is sturdy and will likely last a long time if able to avoid water. I do find myself wishing there were a tin or wooden box included instead (but then, the price would likely be twice what it is).-My beard is infinitely softer than before, and it feels like I can actually control and train it now. My beard balm was apparently working at maybe 10% effectiveness when spread with a comb. We’re in the triple digits now, boys.-There is NO comparison between a brush and a comb for your beard. If you’ve only been using the latter, hit BUY IT NOW and THANK ME LATER.

    nothing to complain about, i just received the brush and my beard is still at some of its early stages. (still pretty full and long just not where i usually have it). brush works great especially with the amish beard balm i got. always hated how my beard looked messy and a regular comb would never work. the combo w the balm and brush is great. learned to use only a very small amount of the balm and rub it in w my hands and then i do like one or two combs with the brush and im all set. love how small and sturdy it feels, i would hate to have a huge monster brush. umm but yeah i like it

    Great little beard brush

    Would be 5 stars but read to the end. Great brush, can’t beat the price. The bristles are just the right length and stiffness for short to medium length beards. Of course, as with any boar hair brush, you’ll have some bristles fall out in the beginning but if you wash it a couple times and “massage” it a bit then that takes care of that. I have started applying my beard oil directly onto the brush then brushing my beard to work the product in and it has been working wonderfully. The only negative thing I have to say is that they changed the packaging. The round hard case shown in the video is no longer included. Now it is just a weak cardboard box that is impractical as a travel case so you may want to find something like a small towel to keep it in if you apply the oil to it like I do, as the oil does tend to get on whatever you set the brush on. Happy grooming 😎

    Great Little tool. Bristles are on the firmer side but i love it and it softens and tames the beard no problem. Fits nicely in my sling bag too.

    I’ve been using the BFWood Small Round Black Walnut Beard Brush for a while now, and it has become my go-to daily grooming tool. The boar bristles strike a really nice balance: they’re firm enough to get through my beard and exfoliate the skin underneath, but not so stiff that they scratch or irritate. After brushing, my beard looks noticeably more controlled, and it helps distribute oils evenly so it doesn’t look dry.The round shape is actually more useful than I expected. It fits naturally in the palm of my hand and makes circular brushing motions easy, which helps with both styling and getting rid of itch. The black walnut wood feels solid and high quality, not cheap plastic. It’s lightweight but still feels like a premium grooming item you’ll keep for years.This brush is also small and very portable. It fits easily in a dopp kit or jacket pocket, so it’s great for travel or quick touch-ups during the day. If you have a very large or long beard, you may prefer a larger paddle-style brush — but for short to medium beards, mustaches, or detail work, the size is perfect.Overall, this is a well-made, effective beard brush that helps reduce itch, improve beard shape, and spread oil/balm evenly. For the price, the quality of the wood and bristles is excellent. I would definitely buy it again or gift it to someone growing a beard.

    Not real boar bristles. Gold paint on the tips of plastic bristles I’m pretty sure. I have another boar bristle brush that is obviously real boar bristles. I’m pretty certain this is not. The wood and brush is good though for beard. Not worth $40 for faux bristles.
