    Good shampoo but not very hydrating as a conditioner, also not very volumizing

    I have fine hair that has started to have some breakage, so this shampoo and conditioning bar seemed like a good choice given its ingredients. The shampoo lathered up well and was easy to work it through my hair. The bar has a pretty subtle fragrance which is fine for me as I find that many hair products are scented more strongly than I’d like them to be, but others looking for products with more fragrance may be disappointed.Given that it’s supposed to be a shampoo and conditioning bar, I was surprised that it seemed to dry my hair out more than my normal shampoo (which doesn’t have a conditioner included). It actually left my hair feeling dry enough that I had to use a separate conditioner, which is something I usually only do a couple of times per week. I also felt like the shampoo didn’t do as good of a job volumizing my hair as others I’ve tried, although it also didn’t leave it looking flat which is an issue I’ve had with some shampoos. I’ll probably finish using this bar but I don’t think I’ll reorder – maybe I’ll try a different formulation from this company.

    Not very conditioning

    The Biotin 2-in-1 Bar has a pleasant natural scent and cleanses the scalp well, but I didn’t notice a big difference in volume or strength after several uses. It’s convenient for travel and feels gentle on the scalp, but it can leave the ends slightly dry, especially if you have long or coarse hair. I appreciate the eco-friendly concept and clean ingredients, but performance-wise, it’s just average compared to other biotin-based hair products. Great idea, but could use a little more conditioning power.

    Pleasantly surprised

    I was a little skeptical that a bar could be both shampoo and conditioner, but I was super intrigued by the idea of taking it carryon without having to deal with liquids. It works well! I feel like it worked at least as well as your standard hotel shampoo / conditioner. I had no issues with my hair health, and it seemed to make my hair fairly shiny too (though it’s hard to tell) I only used a little bit of the bar on my trip, and I think if I keep it dry in between uses it will last a good long time. Again – i had been skeptical about spending $20 for “just” a bar of soap – but it seems like it will last a good while which helps. I haven’t finished the bar but I think it will be worth the price.

I’ve tried a couple of the others and this is my favorite one so far. I have slightly oily hair so it hasn’t made it worse. I had some issues with losing hair and it seems to be healing. Its pretty expensive for what it is, but I like it. It doesn’t really give me volume but I already have volume and thick hair. The scent is nice, not very strong. I hope to get another bar one day

    Small but mighty

    So this bar surpassed my expectations! It cleans very well while not leaving it oily, has a mild scent, keeps hair soft, and doesn’t leave your flat either. I would says the moisture level is mild/moderate- I have very dry fine hair so o do need extra moisture. I have tried other shampoos bars and this doesn’t dry out my hair nearly as much. This bar is super easy to use- it lathers very well without disintegrating instantly like most shampoo bars- this bar actually lasts a long time and I loved the minimal packaging it can in.

    tl;dr- decently long lasting 2 in 1 but it didn’t condition as well as expected at a decent price

    I have been trying to find a good bar shampoo and bar conditioner so when I saw that this was a 2 in 1 bar, I had to get it. I love that it is a large sized bar which after using it lets me know that the bar will last a while.I like that it cleaned my hair really well and it lathered up better than expected. BUT the reason why I took off a star is because it didn’t seem to condition my hair as well as other 2 in 1’s that I have tried. My hair did feel softer afterwards but it did feel a little brittle until I added in my leave in conditioner. I tend to condition my hair twice, once in the shower and the second is a leave in heat protectant conditioner. So my hair was conditioned but not as well as others that I have tried.At the time of this review, this was on sale for $18.99 which is a 14% discount off of the regular price which made me think that it was kinda expensive. But after using it, I think it’s an ok price as it is larger than I was expecting and a little goes a long way as it lathered up really well in my hair.Please remember that everyone’s hair is different and what was a little drying for me might be very moisturizing for you and vice versa. For me, this was not my favorite bar 2 in 1 shampoo and conditioner BUT I can definitely see myself traveling with it.Overall, this is a decent 2 in 1 bar shampoo/conditioner that I think I could use for short term but I would pass on this for long term.

    Good quality shampoo and conditioner bar

    I recently gave the BusyNature Biotin 2-in-1 bar a try, and I was pleasantly surprised by how solid and compact it feels. The bar has a nice weight in my hand — it’s not fragile or crumbly, which gives me confidence it’ll last a while. The packaging is simple and clean: just a cardboard sleeve, no plastic, which makes it feel more sustainable and thoughtful than your typical bottle. There’s a gentle, warm scent not overpowering, just a subtle herbal sort of fragrance that lingers slightly in the shower but doesn’t stay too long when my hair dries.When I used it, the bar lathered fairly well, especially on my scalp. I found that one or two swipes were enough to get a decent foam going. Because it’s a 2-in-1, I expected some compromise, but the conditioning aspect was actually pretty good: after rinsing, my hair didn’t feel stripped, and my ends felt smoother. It’s not super slippery like a thick liquid conditioner, but it provides enough slip to rinse clean without that “stiff bar hair” feel. Overall, using this bar feels practical, eco-friendly, and solid for a travel-friendly or minimalist hair-wash routine. It doesn’t leave any type of oiliness on my scalp. It is a good value with comparable items.

    Carry-on approved haircare for travelers

    This biotin shampoo/conditioner bar is a bit overpriced at $19 ($17 with coupon), but if you’re planning to travel, it’s worth it for the convenience and portability. The solid form factor means this is carry-on approved and less messy than typical haircare products. Plus, the 2-in-1 aspect saves you from packing two different products.I would not replace my daily shampoo and conditioner with this product. But on a trip, it’s a lifesaver. The bar is easy to use and provides ample lather that works easily through wet hair. It left my hair feeling clean but not too dry. I like that this contains vegan biotin to lend some strength to my color-treated tresses! It doesn’t beat having a separate conditioner, but it’s pretty decent in a pinch.Be advised this has no added fragrance. That’s nice if, like me, you appreciate the natural, vegan-friendly formulation, but doesn’t give quite as satisfying a sense of freshness when you step out of the shower. I wish this did have some scent. At least it does not smell unpleasant, just neutral.
