Exactly What I Needed
I got this for my husband to try, and overall, he liked the results. It’s very easy to use, but we found that it needs to be left on for at least 20 minutes to get good color coverage. The 5–10 minute application time wasn’t quite enough for his hair.The bottle is also much smaller than other hair color bottles we’ve purchased in the past, so I was a little surprised by the size for the price. That said, it’s convenient for quick color refreshes between full dye jobs. I would compare it to a root touch-up product—something you can use when you need to freshen up the color without going through the entire permanent coloring process.He did notice that his scalp felt a little more itchy after coloring, although some scalp irritation is fairly common for him after using hair dye.Overall, it worked well once we left it on longer, the application was simple, and it’s a convenient option for touching up color between full dye jobs.

This solution for dyeing Men’s hair & beard really works to darken hair and it’s also easy to apply and quick working so I am very satisfied with the product. Also, the price of this product just can not be beat by those retail little tubes, this is a massive amount of product in comparison and saves regular users a ton of money. The bottle is a pump dispenser, there are two liquids and even amounts of both come out, which require manual mixing to activate the dye.The instruction guide tells you to use the enclosed gloves and squirt the two-part liquids in the palm and mix them there. What I have found is less “messy” is to use a small plate or dish to combine them and apply with a brush, I am only tinting facial hair so finer control is what I am reaching for; be aware also this can stain the skin temporarily.Although the box stated leaving the product on for longer duration will result in a reddish or lighter tone I found “the longer the darker” which is generally the rule for these kind of dyes. The Sillkva will darken hair quite quickly, that is assured so achieving a certain lighter tone may take some experimenting for consistent even toning. If you just want Black, leave it on longer. Salt & Peppa effects can be achieved using multiple short timed exposures. Avoid the eyes, box states clearly not for use on eyebrows but used as directed this is a safe, fast, economical way to “turn back the clock” on greying manes & whiskers. No negative skin reactions for this reviewer. Giving my V Star approval.

I got this because I’m going gray on my sideburns and I didn’t like the way that it looked so this has helped immensely because it has let me isolate just the areas that I want to color without me having to invest in buying a whole hair coloring kit and only using a tiny fraction of it.
