BEST Dry Shampoo EVER!
I am obsessed with this dry shampoo, it blends in so nicely and really makes hair feel fresh again (even after several days without washing!) Also the smell is very subtle but elegant and clean, the packaging is chic and I love that all the ingredients are clean and safe – and as a cancer survivor that is so important for me. This will be a new staple for me and it’s pretty enough to leave out on my counter – cannot recommend enough – five stars!

the shampoo powder is tiny, but it seems like it’ll last a long time. it smells amazing and really absorbs oil well, though it’s pretty pricey for the size.

I’ve used all sorts of dry shampoo in the past and this one’s among my favorites. I like that I only need a small amount. It does a good job removing oils and it smells good. I also like that there’s only 3 holes in the cap for dispensing and it’s perfect, not too much comes out at a time.

Convenient size
This shampoo powder is really convenient. It is super small in terms of the bottle/tube size so it’s a perfect choice to bring with you in your purse if you’re going out of town or staying the night somewhere outside your own house. The lightweight powder keeps my hair looking great and you don’t need to use much either, so there is no worry about having residue in your hair after you use this. I just wish there was more dry shampoo in the bottle.

Quick and effective
I normally wash my hair every morning but occasionally have to skip it when I’m late or in a hurry. But that results in my scalp feeling very greasy and itchy throughout the day. I gave this a try and I was amazed at how well it worked in controlling both the oiliness and itchiness. It was easy to apply, just sprinkle on the top of my head (I have short hair) and work it in with my fingers. It left my hair feeling surprisingly light and restored its volume.Your mileage may vary but for me, 1 day is the most I can go though. When I went for 2 days without washing my hair, it started feeling a little cakey and itchy. In any case, this works really well. Personally I wish it was unscented though, as I find it a little bit on the stronger side.

Powder dry shampoos can be a little tricky, and this one didn’t end up working very well for my hair.The biggest issue is how it looks in darker hair. It leaves a noticeable cast that’s hard to fully blend out, which makes the roots look dusty rather than refreshed.Application also feels a bit messy. Because it’s a loose powder instead of an aerosol, it’s easy to accidentally dispense too much and end up with powder falling onto your scalp or around the area you’re applying it.Another thing I noticed is that it leaves behind a strange buildup feeling in the hair. Instead of just absorbing oil and disappearing, it created a sort of film that made my hair feel a little heavy and not very clean.It might work better for lighter hair colors or people who are very experienced with powder dry shampoos, but the combination of the visible residue, messy application, and buildup made this one hard to enjoy using.

It WORKS, but the smell …
Well, I CAN say that this Blu & Green Dry Shampoo Powder DOES work pretty well! I wish I had taken a before picture of my hair, at the scalp, so the true difference could be seen. It was very easy to “blend” into my hair at the roots and it settled in well. I was very pleased with how well I could blend it in, compared to other dry shampoo powders I have tried in the past.It is the perfect size for traveling or keeping in your purse to have at any given time you may need it. HOWEVER, the smell … it is not pleasant at all! It has a patchouli undertone smell and I personally cannot stand patchouli! It was all I could smell all day long, which made for a long day. I knocked off a star for that alone.As far as price, though it does work well, I think $24 is WAY steep for it, especially considering the size.like that this dry shampoo is the perfect travel size and doesn’t involve any aerosol for flying purposes. The only qualm I have about it is that the scent was a bit too strong for me and also the price for the size. I also have some trouble with the lid staying on so have some tape to keep it from coming off during travel so I don’t end up with powder everywhere.

Good dry shampoo that’s good for the environment
Dry shampoo is a must for me, but most either leave white residue in my brown hair or barely refresh it. A few have worked well, so I tried this one, a non-aerosol powder in a shaker bottle. You tap it near your roots, massage in, then brush through.The powder is fine and lightweight, so it doesn’t weigh hair down. It has a slight herbal/earthy scent: noticeable but not bothersome. The scent lingers after brushing it through, but it’s not terribly strong and I like it smell. The shaker works well (less convenient than aerosol but kinder to the environment) and reminds me of an old favorite of mine that was discontinued.On 3-day unwashed hair (I’m avoiding daily washes to prevent breakage; don’t judge), it absorbed oil, restored some volume, and left no visible residue once brushed in. The results lasted most of the day, which is typical for me. Oil absorption is better than many I’ve tried, though my current favorite is still an aerosol, and I also like a liquid version I’ve found recently for longer-lasting freshness.It’s been hot outside and while I’ve mostly been inside in the air conditioning, I do have to go out in the heat everyday and some days it’s been humid. I also wear a baseball cap frequently, which traps sweat and humidity against my scalp. This doesn’t hold up as well to that as to non-sweaty situations, but it’s still surprisingly effective.Verdict: A solid, eco-friendly dry shampoo powder that’s vegan, cruelty-free, and plastic-free. The downside is the small 0.7 oz size for the price, but it’s worth considering if you need an occasional refresh between washes.
