Not bad, a teeny bit drying, not sure about hair thinning performance yet
It takes ages to see whether this has any impact on hair thinning, so it’ll be a little bit before I can report back on that, but I’ll tell you what I can based on my experience with it so far (a couple of shampoos). This is pricey stuff, nearing $5 per ounce. Oof. The good news is that the shampoo is very lathery (is that a word?), so you just need a small dollop to cover your entire head. My hair is pretty long now (almost halfway down my back), but I only needed about a quarter-sized amount and once I started scrubbing it in, the product covered all my hair. So at least you get a lot of bang for your buck in that sense. It smells a little minty, but not super strongly. After rinsing it out and putting conditioner on, I don’t smell it at all. It did seem like it dried out my hair just a little bit, so I had to make sure to use one of my better conditioners afterward to compensate. My scalp feels clean and dry, but not really itchy or uncomfortable. I did noticed a touch less hair fall over the past few days, but it’s hard to say.I don’t really buy the claim that it makes hair 6.9x stronger. For one, my hair doesn’t feel any stronger than when I started. (I wasn’t having an issue with breakage.) Supposedly there are clinical trial results that support that conclusion, but the manufacturer doesn’t post those results anywhere. I looked. I’m skeptical of the claim, especially since so many similar marketing claims from other brands about however-many-times-stronger hair compare the full line of shampoo + conditioner + serums + whatever to hair that has only been shampooed, which is obviously not apples-to-apples. If the manufacturer wants to build trust, it should publish the actual clinical trial results.Anyway, setting that aside, the shampoo does contain ingredients which could help with hair loss. It will just be a matter of time to see if it makes a difference on my hair. Also, there are a dozen or more reasons for hair loss, so whether this works for any one person is probably a trial-and-error game anyway. Overall, I give it four stars for now, balancing the price, the potential of the ingredients, the slightly drying nature, and the perceived reduction in hair fall over the past few days. If it consistently reduces hair fall or starts promoting new growth, I would upgrade it to five stars, but it’s too early to say.

Good value, hair feels thicker after using it for a while.
My hair has been thinning for a couple of years and I’d tried alot of different shampoos before landing on this one. The Shampoo does a solid job of adding lift at the roots and my hair definately feels fuller after washing, not weighed down the way some volumizing shampoos can leave it. The mint scent is light and fresh without being overpowering, and it rinses clean so there’s no heavy residue that dulls the hair or makes it go limp by day two. The texture after drying is noticeably softer and the overall condition of my hair has improved with regular use, which given the price feels like genuinely good value.

Smells strange and didn’t help.
I don’t really have a lot of great things to say about this shampoo. Unfortunately, I feel it really missed the mark. The smell of the shampoo is… interesting, to be kind. It didn’t bother my skin or anything and I wasn’t itchy when using it. It did clean my hair, which is good. But I didn’t notice any kind of thickening or prevention of hair loss from using it. I went through the whole bottle but didn’t have any real benefit from it. My hair didn’t gain any kind of volume and it didn’t feel improved in any way. I would say that it was not effective in doing what it claimed to offer. For me, it seemed like just another shampoo but with an unpleasant smell.

Helps Reduce Hair Shedding and Thinning Hair!
Prior to receiving this as a Vine item, I have been using Bondiboost HG Anti-Thinning Shampo for Women & Men for roughly six months. I am in my late 40’s and noticed that my hair has been thinning and falling out easier so I decided to try this as it had gotten favorable reviews to help with hair thinning. After using this for roughly six months I have found that it has been effective in helping reduce my hair falling out and my hair health has improved. It’s less brittle and doesn’t break as easy. I wash my hair on Sundays and Wednesdays and use the BondiBoost conditioner with the shampoo and am prone to dandruff. This shampoo has reduced the need to use a dandruff shampoo as well so this has been a benefit. The shampoo has a nice minty refreshing fragrance, although it doesn’t linger in the hair. I use a scalp brush with the shampoo so it does a great job in cleaning my scalp and it feels fresh and clean after shampooing. The shampoo is thinner so it does take a little bit extra to get your hair foamy. The 3.04 fl. oz. size is a good way to try the shampoo without committing to a larger, more expensive size. It’s a decent value for what you pay to try the product- also a good size for traveling. The larger size has a pump so not as convenient as this size to pack in a suitcase.Overall, if you have thinning hair or hair that sheds a lot, I’d recommend trying this shampoo and their conditioner to see if you have hair health improvement.

Invigorating morning shampoo
This BondiBoost HG anti-thinning shampoo has a vibrant scent that is well suited to morning washes. The shampoo comes in a small, 3 oz trial sized bottle. It lathers up as well as any average shampoo and feels like it cleans your hair well. For better or worse, this shampoo has a scent that packs a punch. The bottle suggests that it has several different ingredients that contribute to it’s scent, but it’s primarily peppermint. As such, I think it works well as a morning shampoo to wake you up. I personally wouldn’t want to use it as a nighttime shampoo if I was winding down to go to bed.I think the shampoo cleans well and my hair feels ok afterward. I don’t notice any dryness or itchy side effects. I’ve been using the shampoo almost daily for close to three weeks now. Honestly, I’m not sure if I’m getting any thickening effects, but it might be too soon to tell. The promotional materials of course state that you should be using the shampoo in conjunction with their other hair products to gain the thickening benefits, but as is with these claims for any product, you’re results will likely vary. Still, as I said, I do like it as a an all-purpose morning shampoo anyway.I think my biggest gripe is with the bottle. The bottle is a hard plastic and the cap is a flip top cap. The cap doesn’t bother me, but it’s hard to squeeze shampoo out because of the hard plastic body of the bottle. Now that I’m in the bottle half of the bottle, it’s more effort than I would like to get the shampoo out. I understand why the product pictures show their bottles with pumps – that would work better. But being a small 3oz bottle, a pump wouldn’t make sense. My other small gripe is that I am unsure where this shampoo is produced (see bottle pictures). There are several addresses given, so it’s possible it’s manufactured in the US, otherwise it seems like maybe it’s manufactured in Australia. The ingredients are of unknown origin as the bottle just says they are sourced from domestic and foreign places – which is the same thing as saying the ingredients come from anywhere and everywhere.Overall, I like the shampoo as a daily cleaning shampoo. Maybe it provides some thickening benefits, but I haven’t seen that in my first 3 weeks of usage. I can’t get give it 4 stars, though, since the bottle isn’t ideal and the price is a bit high so it’s not necessarily a great value unless you love the scent of peppermint in your shampoo.

Gentle Mint Herbal Shampoo – Travel Size Hair Cleanser
This shampoo is effective at cleansing my hair without completely stripping it of moisture. It leaves my hair in good condition. It feels soft, smooth, and shiny after using it, rather than dry and it just seems to be really gentle overall. The scent is noticeable but not overwhelming or irritating. It smells natural, with peppermint and rosemary, and has that fresh, just-left-the-salon kind of vibe to it.The formula has a nice thickness and lathers easily, which makes it simple to work through my hair. The push-top bottle is convenient and makes dispensing straightforward and easy. One thing to note is the size. The bottle is very small, more like a mini or travel size, but still enough to get a good sense of how it performs and it also makes it easy to pack for trips.I like that it uses procapil instead of minoxidil, with a blend of peptides and more naturally derived ingredients rather than synthetic chemicals. Overall, my husband and I are both liking this shampoo so far.

Smells and feels refreshing, hoping for the best longer-term.
As I’m aging, I am noticing my hair beginning to thin a bit. I was happy to have the opportunity to try this shampoo that I ordered through the Amazon vine program for review.I am familiar with this brand, but not this product, and I think it is a nice quality product. I liked the scent, it is peppermint-y, so smells and feels refreshing. The scent is not overpowering and also does not linger. By the time I conditioned my hair and use styling products, there wasn’t really any peppermint scent left. I had to use a decent amount to get a good lather, but my hair tends to be oily so that’s not surprising (plus I don’t think shampoo should be judged based on how much ladder it creates – it’s usually a result of additives that aren’t great for you.). I would say it was also clarifying and did not leave my hair feeling sleek when I first rinsed it, but that is not uncommon prior to conditioning my hair. Once I had conditioned, it left my hair feeling healthy and gave me good volume once styled, but I do use several other styling products as part of my usual routine. If I decide to use this on a regular basis, I would likely buy a larger bottle, but for the opportunity to give it a test run, this smaller size bottle was a good value. While it’s a little premature to speak to possible long-term results and impact this may have, I like it enough to continue to use it.

Made my hair dry and coarse; very small bottle
I received this hair-growth shampoo months ago and am sorry to report that I’m giving up on it after only using it twice. Both times it left my hair feeling like straw: coarse and dried out (see photo). After making that unpleasant discovery the first time, I held off on retrying it until I didn’t have any social engagements I cared about coming up. That reluctance to wreck my tresses means I can’t evaluate Bondi Boost’s effectiveness in encouraging hair regrowth, although I can attest its failure as a shampoo for regular use. Despite this product’s lengthy list of what sound like high-quality ingredients–a combination of promising-sounding botanicals and chemistry-quiz fare–it was harsh, like paint-stripper on my normally unfussy hair. The shampoo has a very strong medicinal-minty smell. To my relief, that fragrance didn’t linger once I’d rinsed the product out of my hair, so I didn’t wind up smelling like cheap mouthwash. As you can see from my photos, the bottle is quite small, making this shampoo fairly pricey at $15 (about $5 an ounce). I don’t see myself “gifting” this to anyone given how disappointed I am with it, so I’m simply going to throw it away.
