    A natural way to prevent razor burn and ingrowns.

    I am one of those people that if I am not extremely careful, I will end up with a sea of red bumps on my legs and it has in fact, happened to me. I have had ingrown hairs before I even started shaving. I remember looking at the bumps on my knees and scratching at them, watching the ingrown hairs pop out. I would end up with knees that stung, with a layer of missing skin. Once I started shaving other places, the problems grew worse and even the feel of my underwear and pants would hurt the razor burn and ingrown. So I learned the things everyone has to learn. Don’t use dull razors, always use a good shaving cream/oil, and having something to soothe with afterwards is imperative. And don’t use regular lotion because that will burn! My skin is particularly sensitive and I have wanted to try something like this botanical shave oil for a while. Everything is natural and includes lavender. It slides easily on the skin with a roller ball. So far, I love the way it feels in the skin and I haven’t had razor burn but I don’t know if it helps prevent ingrowns so I took off a star. If with continued use, I figure out that it is helping with that, I will update. In the meantime, for $12.99, this is so worth it.

    Hydrating and soothing

    This botanical after shave oil leaves my freshly shaved skin feeling hydrating and soothed. No more of that scraped skin feeling that we all dislike. The oil is scented and not fragrance-free as it says on the page. If you have sensitive skin, check the ingredients before purchasing — all the essential oils don’t agree with everyone. The carrier oils are relatively thick and this product definitely has a thicker feel. Overall, that isn’t bad as long as you are aware and dispense the product accordingly. Overall, I do like this oil because of how hydrated and soothed it leaves my skin.

    Lovely blend of natural herbs and botanicals to help soothe and heal newly shaved skin. Deeply hydrates and protects skin. Helps prevent ingrown hairs, gently calms irritated razor-scraped skin, bumps, and rash. Impressive laundry list of all natural ingredients, most of which are known to benefit irritated and sensitive skin, so this is perfect for delicate areas, such as bikini line, etc. Personally, I love the scent with the various herbal aromas, but it may not be everyone’s preference. All in all, I’m pleased with the performance and effectiveness, and glad it doesn’t burn or sting newly shaven skin.

    Good product. Terrible applicator.

    For what it is… I think this product is just an ok value. The oil itself feels very nice and hydrating. It does not irritate my skin after shaving. Feels great after a bit and no stickiness feeling at all.The scent is stronger than I like but it isn’t that bad in the grand scheme of things but the hubs is very sensitive to scent (hates scented things for the most part) and he felt it was a bit strong. I personally think it is nice mild scent but leans towards stronger side.I did deduct one star because this applicator is trash. The packaging is nice, but the roller gets stuck constantly and then you essentially have to roll it around in your hand to get it unstuck. Feels very cheap this plastic ball and gets stuck constantly.Sometimes i just twist it open to get to the product. It is just very annoying to use.

    Soothing oil with a convenient roll-on bottle

    This botanical after shave oil is very easy to apply thanks to the roll-on bottle. It glides on smoothly and applies just the right amount without making a mess.The oil blend feels lightweight and absorbs nicely into the skin without leaving a heavy or greasy feeling. The herbal blend has a pleasant, natural scent that isn’t overpowering. It’s soothing to the skin and feels really great.The bottle is compact and easy to keep in a bathroom drawer or travel bag. Overall, this is a well-made after shave oil that’s simple to use and feels gentle on the skin. I’m very happy with the quality and packaging.

    Smells Great & Soothing to Apply

    I love the packaging for this oil, it has a good weight to it and I actually enjoy the rollerball applicator! It’s very soothing to apply to the legs and sinks in nicely to the skin. I do wish the applicator saturated just a little bit more, it seems to retain very little product to it so you have to run it over the skin several times. The scent is lovely and although I have very sensitive skin, I haven’t had any issues with bumps or rashes since I started using this! I don’t have any issues with ingrown hairs so I can’t speak to how this product helps with that, but I do think it keeps my skin calm after shaving.

    Full of only natural ingredients, but may not be the best for those with highly sensitive skin.

    So I have to shave, like a lot, I have thick dark hair that grows fast… irritation from all that shaving is inevitable. This looked like a wholesome solution to that irritation as the ingredients are just natural oils.I did a patch test to see if it would irritate my skin on my inner elbow. The smell is really light despite it’s list of a lot of essential oils. It is faintly floral, clean and pleasant. It is pretty heavy going on and doesn’t absorb into the skin that fast. It also gave me a light warm sensation and made me slightly pink. The warm and pink wore off pretty quickly, 20 minutes, and the skin was left smooth and soft. However with that initial reaction I am a little wary of putting it on my most delicate bits. Now, I do have highly reactive skin so my experience may not be a common one.And personally, I am not a big fan of the roller application. I don’t find it to be a very hygienic method. I have made my own bath and body stuff (butters/lotion) and know the importance that preservatives play as well as why the are used, and this oil has no real preservatives that I can see. Things tend to go bad quicker, grow bacteria when you are introducing possible moisture or body oils into a product. This roller is a way to introduce said moisture etc. into the product, possibly reducing it’s shelf life.

    Moisturizing, but heavily fragranced and not for sensitive noses

    This aftershave oil comes in a dark 50ml bottle to help protect the essential oils from oxidation, which I appreciate. The formula claims to be a pure essential oil blend, and it is moisturizing on the skin. However, there are a few drawbacks that keep me from fully recommending it.First, the rollerball applicator is a bit clumsy. It’s hard to control how much product you’re applying, and I think a dropper or pump would’ve made for a much better user experience.Second—and this is a big one—the fragrance is very strong for something meant to go on freshly shaved, potentially sensitive skin. The label describes it as a refreshing herbal floral scent, but to me, it smells like too many essential oils are fighting for attention. If it had stuck to just lavender or just chamomile, I think it could’ve been lovely. Instead, the blend is a little overwhelming and not subtle at all (despite what the packaging claims).It’s worth noting that while this product has no added synthetic fragrance, it’s definitely not fragrance-free. People with migraines, asthma, or scent sensitivities might find this irritating.At $12.99, I wouldn’t personally repurchase. It does moisturize well, but the scent is just too much for me. A good reminder that “natural” doesn’t always mean gentle.
