Very Nice Dryer
I use this hair dryer for daily styling. It dries hair quickly while staying relatively quiet, and the temperature control is helpful. It feels well-made and is a good value overall. Great cord length and feels durable in the hand.

Ok. As many have noted, it has a lot of words on it. I don’t mind this, but if you do, it’s noteworthy.The performance is great. It works really well and has hot and cool settings. The digital screen is a nice touch. The ring color shows the temp setting so it’s easy to tell where the temp is. It is pretty quiet. It is gentle and doesn’t blow super hard. It dries without a lot of air, if that makes sense!The cord is an decent length but not super long. It’s fine for a sink that has a close plug but won’t stretch very much farther than that.The magnetic concentrator is great. I think other magnetic attachments would work on it as well, but I haven’t tried any.So far this has been good quality and no issues. I don’t use it a ton but it does work great on my finish hair. It doesn’t cause as much frizz and issues as my older one did.For the quality, I think the price point is ok. I don’t think it’s an amazing deal ($60 at time of this review) but it’s not overpriced. About right.

Strongly recommend, better than Dyson
Great hair dryer, better than Dyson, lighter in weight, stronger draft and lower temperature. I was exposed to this brand at hotels when I traveled in China. I was surprised at how well it worked and went ahead to buying it when I got back. Strongly recommend it

Gentle but Fast!
Okay, I’m just going to say it. It looks like a barcode scanner. There are words (voltage information & etc) on both sides of the top of the hair dryer. It’s pretty much covered in words, so it’s not that pretty. I like that it had a silicone/rubber cord keeper instead of a velcro one. I don’t have to worry about it pulling my knit clothing. I can tie the cord keeper by pulling the holes onto the tabs with one hand (and I’m not a very talented person. In fact, I’m on the clumsy side) so it’s convenient.It’s a little heavier than most of the hair dryers I’ve tried (except one). I love the magnetic concentrator! It’s so easy to put on and take off. It didn’t fall off or anything while I was using it, either. A “screen” is on the back of the dryer. It’s where you can see what temperature the dryer is set on. You set the temp with the smaller push button. Then the screen will be ringed in different colors (blue = cool, yellow, red = hottest). The colors aren’t very bright and it took me a while to notice them.I usually accidentally change the settings while using a hair dryer. That doesn’t happen here. The fan speed is a slider so it’s hard to accidentally change. The positioning of the push button makes it so I didn’t hit it by accident, which made me happy.It’s strangely gentle with the concentrator on it (I didn’t use it without the concentrator). I had it on the highest fan speed setting / power setting, but it didn’t feel like an assault on my face. It still dried my hair really fast, but it was comfortable. I’m not sure how to describe it, but the air coming from the dryer feels really nice. I only used the yellow (warm) and the cool shot settings and had no issues with it. I have fine hair with 2a waves. I really liked the gentle feel of this dryer 🙂 My hair dried really silky and shiny and I didn’t even use heat protectant on my hair this time! People in the house have been touching my hair more than usual :)It didn’t seem to be louder or quieter than the other hair dryer I’ve used. I didn’t really notice it.The quality is good. Our outlet in the bathroom is loose, but I didn’t have any issues with this plug just falling out (a lot of other plugs do regularly fall out of this outlet). It does come with an ALCI plug (see photo). This works to protect the user from shock in a slightly different way than a third grounding prong (an ALCI plug turns the flow of electricity off without having to trip the breaker while a grounding prong reroutes the current to the ground and trips the breaker), so I don’t think it’s strange that it doesn’t have a grounding plug. Sometimes these need to be reset before you use it the first time, but I didn’t have to for this one. It is not dual voltage. It does not have a double insulated logo on it (but that’s something they use across the pond and it’s not a US logo anyway). Our lights didn’t dim. We don’t have any major appliances on that circuit, though.It comes shrink wrapped so you can tell if someone else used it before you or not. The box and the dryer say “Dametol” (lol!) but for some reason, the instructions say “BOWEI Dryer.”Value for money? I think it’s a little on the pricey side at 69.99, but I really like how gentle it feels while still drying my hair fast, so I think it might be worth it :)Nice!

I’ve been wanting to try this style hair dryer for a while now so I was excited to get this product. I have very thin hair with loose curls that frizzes with humidity. It usually takes me only about 12 mins to blow dry my hair with my old hair dryer. Using this one, it took a little longer around 15 mins. The highest heat setting is not as hot as my hair dryer, but it has a powerful blower. This required me to go over the same spot a little more but once I saw how smooth and whiney my hair was I didn’t mind the extra work! I couldn’t believe it. I’m not sure that this would work for someone with thicker or curlier hair as it may need higher heat. But for my hair this works pretty good. Only draw back I experienced is that it overheated when I turned it off after the first section so I had to wait a few minutes to let it cool down. The filter is easy to twist off and clean the screen. Also wanted to give a shoutout to the customer service team who helped me very quickly with an issue I was having!

Nothing special and a few concerns
This hair dryer is somewhat disappointing. The biggest issue is the plug, which doesn’t stay firmly in place in the outlet. It doesn’t fall completely out of the socket, but wobbles notably when even slightly moving the hair dryer. This is both disconcerting and potentially dangerous.Also of note is that it seems to pull an unusual amount of power when using this in the bathroom. The lights go dimmer and brighter repeatedly when using the hair dryer. We haven’t had this issue with other hair dryers, and this occured when we tested this dryer in other bathrooms. This seems to be an unusual power drain, and raises some concerns about the dryer’s grounding or wiring (of note, this dryer does not have a separate grounding prong on its plug).One other minor note is that though they claim this to be ultra-quiet, we did not notice it being any quieter than other hair dryers.Basic functions seem to work ok, but other than the nice and compact look of this hair dryer there’s nothing special about it.

This hairdryer is so sleek and easy to use. The lightweight and slim profile makes drying my hair very easy and quick. It comes beautifully packaged with intuitive controls. As someone who doesn’t dry my hair quickly, it didn’t make sense to buy one of the expensive namebrand hair dryers. This one fits the bill as it works quite well and it’s still affordable.
