Easy to use with the smart function. Ads sell this product will give you 2 years of hair removal… not even close. Following a weekly individualized program, at best 3-4 weeks before hair grows back.

Visible results, but stopped working in week three
I’m very sad because for two years I really wanted to have this Braun IPL hair removal device. I dreamed about buying it, and when I finally did, I was extremely happy.The first week went very well. The second week also went very well. After those sessions, the hair on my legs noticeably decreased — it was truly visible. It was barely growing back and took much longer to appear. The underarm hair showed similar results. The bikini area was improving too, although not as noticeably as the legs and underarms.However, during the third week session, the device suddenly stopped flashing the red light. I checked it several times, but it simply would not work. I requested a return through Amazon within the first 30 days, but honestly, I’m very disappointed.In the short time I used it, I can say that it does deliver results. I really did see improvement. I just don’t know what happened — mine seems to have been defective.Additionally, I am in Colombia and the app does not work here, which was another inconvenience. I’m considering buying the version that does not require the app, but I feel discouraged after this experience.Now I just hope I don’t have any issues with the return process. I truly feel sad because I had longed for this device for so long, and unfortunately, it was not the best experience for me.

It works for dark, coarse hair
I wanted to use this for several months before weighing in with my results. I’ve been using it since January 2026, and have found that I’m getting really good results.First, the app and unit itself are easy to use, and I appreciate being able to schedule my sessions when they work for me. The reminders help keep me on track so I don’t miss a session. The laser “zap” is pretty mild to me, although some areas can be more sensitive to it (underarms and bikini especially). I wear protective glasses as a just in case, but I don’t think it’s required to use the unit, more a personal choice.Using the unit on my legs, I noticed a difference in just a few weeks. I have thicker, black hair and it shows a lot on my pale skin. Be realistic, this isn’t going to stop growth in 2-3 sessions, but it will reduce some of it. Over time, it builds to the point where your legs are only growing hair back after a number of days (up to a week for me!), making shaving so much less of a chore.One thing that I don’t love is using it on my face. The smallest attachment doesn’t seem small enough for such detailed areas such as my upper lip, brow area, etc. I still use it, but the coverage is spotty.The fact that this item has significantly decreased the amount and frequency of hair growth is life changing for me. Shaving it everyday sucked and I am grateful I found the Braun expert pro7. I recommend to anyone with slightly coarse, dark hair that grows back quickly. I’m very happy!

I have used it twice so far and there is some noticeable difference in hair growth. It is or course less powerful vs IPL in spas so more frequent treatment are required in the beggining (once a week). Considering the value and the money you save, it’s totally worth it imho. Will adjust the start rating in few months when I can actually see fuller impact on hair growth.

I used 11 sessions, and nothing has changed at all. I’m going to try the highest intensity level.I used the first intensity level, and the app says I need 10 sessions. I assume that even if I use the third level, it will still say I need 10 sessions, and I don’t think it’s supposed to work like that.Also, the app gives me far fewer flashes than I actually need to cover all of my treatment areas, so I can’t even finish all my zones in one session.I’m disappointed with this device so far. On top of that, I have to let my hair grow for almost a week before each session, but my hair starts growing back the very next day. I might just go back to using my Braun epilator.Device is easy to use but I need sunglasses because my eyes are burning all day after using device without sunglasses

Shockingly impressive
This is the best little device, I’ve spent THOUSANDS on professional laser hair removal and this removed my hair in under a month, I didn’t even need all 6 sessions like it recommended. So easy to use.My only complaint is that the app is a little confusing at first (it makes you set up a “plan”, reminds you when your next session is due, etc.) but when you miss sessions it’s a bit complicated to reschedule and get the device going. Nothing to do with the device whatsoever — a simple app update is all that’s needed.So excited to never go to the derm again for $$$ laser removal.

Alright, so let’s get factors up on the table straight away. I’m autistic transgender with cerebral palsy MtF. So we have a higher treatment complexity. I have zero pain tolerance. Try to start an IV on me and I’m usually gonna need a trip to OR. So any home laser or IPL was nerve racking to pull the purchase on.I got the Braun and went for top of the line because I know cheaping out on anything medical is typically bad idea.I know nothing about IPL aside from, it covers the YAG lasers light spectrum pretty well so I figured may as well go for it.My review shows images showing what happens when you hit trimmed but not closely shaven hair, it literally burns most of the hair off and can irritate the remaining. Smelt like I was burning leather with diode laser! Not gonna do unprepared hair again.Preparing the hair, they include a manual razor but a close shaving electrical will do just as well. What’s crucial is you don’t have hairs hanging out that could project through the window of the pulse generator, those get vaporized and the follicles are at risk of irritation. So do the extra minute of shaving before you go zapping, your hair and your body will thank you and you’ll get faster results. Unprepped hair may get results in areas where prepping is impossible but it is strongly recommended against.My hemiscrotal region is the primary reason I got the device and remarkably it works down there!! The skin tone is darker than expected but the device accepts it after some positioning changes so it can see the lighter parts of the skin down there.Preparing for a vaginoplasty isn’t going to be easy but it appears that if the results keep at this good of a rate then I might have dodged a $10,000 cost of laser sessions to get rid of all my body hair.Hairy arms chest back legs, all of it. And my face. Would cost me a heap more at a laser center and the nice thing is I have total control of the light emitter system at all times rather than having to constantly tell a laser technician to slow down the beam because my skin is getting too many hits at once.There is no book of customers to maintain. My machine, I can take as little or much time I need.The hemiscrotal region is likely going to need frequent retreatment initially before it gets controlled.My face was another test. I shaved last night then hit the shaved hair with the IPL. I’m impressed as usually I’ll get cactus prickles on my chin and places and, minimal to zilch.Alright, so day one impression 10/10 I think we have us a winner.I’ll be back in 3 months to update.
