So far, So Good…Time will Tell
This review is for the Bur Bur Hair Growth Line. I’ve been seeing so many reviews on social media for this hair line and have been wanting to try it. I’ve only used it for one week so I can’t speak on if it actually helps with growth. BUT I can tell you that the scent is mild, it’s not perfumed and overly scented; which I really appreciate. It lathers well and washes out clean. It’s also not full of terrible ingredients. The deep conditioner is thick and creamy. I leave it in for 5 minutes (probably should try for the full 10 but who stands around for 10 minutes in the shower?) and it also washes out easily and leaves my hair soft and silky. So far, I’m happy with the line, but will wait a few months to see if there is any change in my hair or the growth. I have very fine and thinner hair since menopause so I’ll be happy if it helps increase thickness even a little. Price is high so if it doesn’t help with thickness or growth I don’t think I’ll keep buying just because there are lots of other shampoo lines I like that won’t break the bank. If it works, then I’ll be a customer for life. I’d really like to try the hairbrush next!

Amazing quality at a steep price
This is a nice set if your hair tends to be dry, frizzy, or in need of some extra moisture. The shampoo cleans well without leaving my hair feeling stripped, and the conditioner makes it noticeably softer and easier to brush through. The hair mask is definitely the standout for me, it leaves my hair feeling really smooth, hydrated, and healthier after using it. The scent is pleasant and fairly subtle, and I also like that the whole line is sulfate-free. I haven’t used it long enough to say anything about actual hair growth, and the price is definitely higher than typical shampoos and, while the deep conditioner is a good size, the conditioner and shampoo are quite small for the value.

Possibly worth the sticker shock
Due to the way Vine prices personal care items, I didn’t see the retail value of this trio until I’d already ordered it. And it was a big “Yikes.” As someone who buys her beauty products at Costco, Sally, and the grocery store, this one is eye-watering. So the question is, how much better is it than the products in my go-to routine?Having never used anything this high-end before, the results surprised me a bit. The bottles are small, but a little goes a long way. I have long thick hair and am used to having to use a whole handful of shampoo on it. Just one pump of this shampoo makes my scalp and roots squeaky clean; how much it lathers depends on how long it’s been since I washed my hair, but it’s definitely working. Likewise with the conditioner, though I need a pump and a half to cover my hair all the way down to the ends. The result is shiny hair with my frizzy flyaways tamed, and gentle waves when air-dried. So far, I’m impressed.The hair mask is a clear standout in this set. I left it on for the full ten minutes, and… you know those shampoo commercials where someone is shaking out their long, perfectly straight, perfectly healthy hair and it looks almost liquid with the light shimmering off it? My hair is a mess of a mop top, but the hair mask made me feel like the girls in the commercials, just a little bit. It’s smoothing and intensely hydrating. and my hair loves it.The shampoo and conditioner bottles come with a clip to prevent them depressing and dispensing product when you don’t want them to. However, this was not enough to stop the shampoo from leaking in transit and getting probably a dollar or two’s worth all over itself, the other bottles, and the inside of the package. If you plan to toss these into a suitcase or gym bag, I’d recommend a zip top bag to prevent similar disasters.If you divide the price of this set by the three items in it, the price per bottle doesn’t seem terrible – not too far out of line from a name brand product you’d get at a hair salon. I don’t plan to keep buying it for myself, as I don’t need the hair growth and strengthening benefits; but I’m giving what’s left of the shampoo and conditioner after testing to my husband, who has struggled with patches of thinning hair from long-term use of a product that became notorious for being correlated with hair loss among some users. His hair is gradually returning, but if this trio can help the process, it will be worth the price. Only time will tell. The hair mask is going to my mom, who hasn’t conditioned her hair since the late seventies, back in the “creme rinse” days. I’m excited to see what it will do for her.

Noticeable Improvement in Hair Health
As a senior citizen with longer hair, keeping my hair healthy and reducing hair loss is a challenge. After reading the reviews and researching the ingredients, I decided to give BUR BUR a try. I ordered the trio of shampoo, conditioner, and deep conditioning mask.The shampoo creates a rich lather with just a small amount. The more you massage the shampoo into you hair and scalp, the more lather you get. The shampoo rinses easily without leaving a coating on your hair.I use a little more of the conditioner than I did shampoo to coat all my hair. The conditioner rinses completely and like the shampoo, didn’t leave any residue or greasy feeling.The deep conditioning mask was the most impressive of the trio. It didn’t take much product to create a thick mask. When dry, my hair felt soft, strong, with a noticeable improvement in volume and body.I have noticed that my hair feels and looks fuller since using BUR BUR. My hair is stronger with less breakage and split ends.The BUR BUR formula is rich in hair healthy natural botanical oils like jojoba, argan, and vitamins that work together to make a quality product that actually makes a difference in my hair health.This BUR BUR trio is a significantly higher price than many other products. BUR BUR contains exclusively quality, top of the line ingredients that work amazing for moisturizing and volume. My hair breakage has decreased and I notice less split ends. I’m very pleased with how strong and healthy my hair is since using BUR BUR.

Perhaps too moisturizing for some hair
Given the price, I had very high expectations of this set, but the reality is that it is just OK. I have hard water so lathering can be an issue for me sometimes, but I felt like this shampoo required an extra squirt to have it really suds up on my head. The conditioner was almost impossible to lather even with a lot of it. The scent is sort of citrusy/orangy which I normally don’t think of for hair care products but overall it was a nice scent. I’ve been using it for about two weeks and my hair has consistently become limper and limper. I used the hair mask once, and my hair was very limp and almost greasy looking that day. I do have pretty fine, thin hair, so it may just be that my hair cannot tolerate the amount of moisturizing that these hair care products provide. The moisturizing factor is not necessarily a bad thing for certain hair types, but for me, it has made my hair flat and lack volume. If you have heavier, more naturally voluminous hair that is dry or damaged then this product may work well for you. For me, it was just not a winner.

I love this new Bur Bur hair care system. This 3 piece set includes shampoo, conditioner and a repairing hair mask. A very nice tube squeezer is even included for the hair mask tube.These all smell wonderful To me it smells like a combination of grapefruit and bergamot.The shampoo lathers nicely and cleans very well without stripping my hair of it’s natural oils.The conditioner feels rich and creamy yet it rinses out easily. I just need to use a small amount. Because my hair is very fine, I concentrate on the middle and bottom portion of my hair. This makes my hair soft and shiny without weighing it down.The hair mask is the cherry on top. This gives my hair that extra boost it needs and feels very nourishing. It only needs to be used once a week or as needed.This trio has had a significant impact on my hair. It feels sofert , looks shinier, and just seems healthier. Best of all, it has tamed my frizz, I have fine, straight hair and never had a problem with frizz when I was younger, but menopause causes hair to change .Suddenly I was battling frizz. With this trio, I think I may have won that battle.

i’m so obsessed with this trio! i usually have a hard time finding hair products that give me enough moisture back in my hair without making it feel heavy and this set has been a really nice balance.the nourishing shampoo cleans my scalp well but doesn’t leave my hair feeling squeaky or stripped. the conditioner made a noticeable enough difference that when i’m brushing through my hair it feels softer and doesn’t tangle nearly as much as it usually does. i will say though that the hair mask just might be my favorite! i leave it on for a little longer than intended and feel like my hair is crazy soft and smooth afterwards, especially on the ends.i also really like that it has argan oil, jojoba oil, shea butter and murumuru butter for extra moisture. i can’t say it magically made my hair grow overnight but with consistent use my hair has been feeling stronger, looking shinier, and having some less frizz.i feel like the fact that the whole routine is sulfate free is a big plus too especially if your hair is often dry like mine tends to be. overall, this feels like a high quality and complete hair routine and my hair has been noticeably softer and easier to manage since using it so i’d definitely recommend! 5/5.

Not enough cleansing and moisture for my processed hair
I washed, conditioned, and masked with this trio hair growth care set.The shampoo didn’t break up the regular products in my hair. The 2 conditioners did not feel silky going on nor nourishing while rinsing out, several minutes later, after letting it sit in.The next morning, (after the bedtime wash) I was left with dried out, stuck to itself, hair. I needed to wet it all down with my own leave-in conditioner, to brush it out smooth.I can’t speak to the growth ability, as this trio is not going to work for my hair.The price for the trio was higher than I’d prefer for the quality appearance of my hair.These products may be amazing for unprocessed hair. It wasn’t enough clean and condition for my hair.The 2 bottle pumps would not twist open without using pliers to hold the base while turning the top, push down nozzle, on order to get them to engage open.I loved the key included to roll down the metal mask tube. Its a very helpful design to maximize getting all product out of the tube.
