Easy to use wax
I’ve tried a few different hard waxes over the years, and they definitely aren’t all created equal. This one ended up being easier to work with than I expected. I like that it’s microwaveable because I didn’t need any special equipment to get started. The wax melted down evenly and had a smooth consistency that spread without feeling too thick or too runny. Once it cooled, it stayed flexible enough to remove in one piece instead of cracking into tiny bits.The coconut formula has a pleasant scent that’s noticeable without being overwhelming. I also appreciate that it’s rosin free since some waxes can be a little harsher on my skin. As with any hard wax, getting the temperature right makes a big difference, so I’d recommend testing a small amount before applying it. Once I found the right consistency, it gripped the hair well while being fairly easy to remove.

Good Results, but I Wish It Worked with Standard Wax Warmers
I’ve used hard wax before, so I already had a good idea of what to expect. I mainly use it on coarse hairs, and this wax performed well in that role. I tested it on a small section of facial hair and it removed the hairs cleanly without giving me any trouble. Whether it’s because this formula spreads a little more easily or because I’ve become more experienced with waxing over time, I actually found it simpler to work with than the hard wax I had been using previously.The one thing I didn’t realize before ordering is that this product is really designed to be used with the brand’s wax warmer after it’s heated in the microwave. The hard waxes I’ve purchased in the past all came in metal tins, so I could simply place them into my existing wax warmer to keep the wax at the proper consistency throughout the session. Since this container is plastic, I couldn’t do that without worrying about it melting. Because of that, my experience is based entirely on heating it in the microwave. I may eventually remove the wax from the container, cut it into smaller pieces, and use it in my silicone wax cup or an empty metal wax tin with my regular warmer. Or just heat and pour it into my wax cup a little bit at a time.Another small drawback is the lid. Once the seal is opened, there isn’t a secure way to close the container again. I ended up using tape to keep the lid in place so dust and debris couldn’t get inside between uses.Aside from the storage and usage concerns, I was happy with how the wax performed. It gripped coarse hairs well, removed them cleanly, and was easy to work with while it was warm.

Easy to use and surprisingly gentle
’ve used several different hard waxes and this one has been really easy to work with at home. I like that the container can go directly in the microwave because it saves me from having to pull out a separate wax warmer every time. It melts evenly as long as I heat it gradually and stir between intervals.The consistency is smooth and easy to spread once it reaches the right temperature. It grips hair well without sticking excessively to the skin, and I haven’t had to repeatedly go over the same areas to pick up missed hairs. Once it sets, it stays flexible enough to remove in one piece instead of cracking and breaking apart.I’ve used it on more sensitive areas and found it gentler than some other hard waxes I’ve tried. My skin still gets the normal temporary redness I expect from waxing, but I haven’t experienced any unusual irritation. I also appreciate that it’s rosin free since my skin can be sensitive. The 27 ounce container is a generous amount, especially for at home use, and I think the combination of the size and performance makes it a good value. Overall, it removes hair effectively, is convenient to heat and has been easy to work with even without professional equipment.

I picked this up for my wife because she’s been wanting to try a professional-quality hard wax at home, and this one checked all the boxes. It’s an Australian-made, rosin-free, stripless hard wax that’s formulated for sensitive skin and can be heated in the microwave or used in a wax warmer, making it a convenient option for home use.The packaging is well done, and the large 27-ounce container should last quite a while. I also like that the tub can be microwaved before being placed directly into a compatible wax heater, which adds flexibility depending on how you prefer to use it. Fantastic wax – just follow the instructions
I was slightly taken aback by the warning that this product is for professional use only, and by the instructions saying to put the microwave-heated tub in a professional wax heater. But the instructions – at least to my eye – appear to give instructions you can follow at home as long as you have a microwave. They say to place the tub OFF-CENTER in the microwave and heat for a minimum of 2 minutes (but if you heat it too long it could melt the tub itself so be careful!). I added about another minute but my microwave is NOT high power. The result was that there was a part of the wax in the tub that was the required consistency of honey, which was perfect to start trying it out with. It has a pleasant vanilla coconut fresh scent, and it was easily to apply (I just used a round-blade knife as I don’t have a wax applicator!) and it was easy to rip off, and surprisingly, it was not as painful as I feared it might be, and there was no allergic reaction or lasting redness, so I am delighted, and will not hesitate to order this again in the future. HIGHLY recommended!

Smooth Application and Removes Cleanly
I was very pleased with how easy this hard wax was to work with. It has a nice, light scent that isn’t overpowering, and it melts to a smooth consistency that makes application easy. I used a wooden craft stick to apply a relatively thin layer, and the wax spread smoothly and evenly.Once set, it was easy to lift and peel away. The wax came off cleanly without breaking apart or excessive pulling, while still gripping and removing the hair effectively. I also found the warmth of the wax comfortable on my skin and helpful in making the whole process feel a little more relaxing.Overall, I was impressed with both the application and hair removal performance. It was easy to work with, removed cleanly, and didn’t leave me struggling with pieces of hardened wax breaking apart during removal.
