I am purely speculating here, but if two female humans did happen to have a little upper-lip shadow, this Australian-made strawberry wax would apparently be the ultimate secret weapon to make it disappear.The wax itself is incredibly gentle. It is formulated for sensitive skin, so it removes hair smoothly without leaving behind a bright red, irritated ring of regret. The microwave-to-pot design is a massive convenience, heating up quickly and fitting right into a standard wax heater. Plus, the strawberry scent is fantastic and does a great job of masking the scent of the impending follicle warfare.The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that it can get pretty stringy and messy if you don’t get the temperature exactly right. It takes a little practice to handle cleanly. But overall, it does a flawless job. My family remains entirely mustache-free, and I will continue to mind my own business!

I’ve used Caronlab products for years, so I already had pretty high expectations, and this strawberry version didn’t disappoint.The consistency reminds me a lot of the popular GiGi soft wax, but this one has a sweet strawberry scent, which I think is a fun bonus. Also, if you prefer unscented waxes, then this is not for you, because I feel like the strawberry scent is pretty noticeable.I’ve used it with both cotton and linen wax strips, and it performs well with either. I also found it gentle enough that if I missed a few hairs, I could go over the same area again without my skin getting irritated. So far, I’ve mainly used it for facial waxing, and it’s worked great. I haven’t tested it on larger areas like my legs or arms yet.One of my favorite things about this microwaveable Caronlab tub is how quickly it’s ready to use. I heat the wax in the microwave first, then place the container into my wax warmer to keep it at the perfect temperature. It heats up much faster than waiting for my hard wax to melt (which can take a couple of hours), so it’s great if you need your wax warm first thing in the morning (specifically mentioning this for my fellow waxers).For $15, I think it’s an excellent buy. If you’re looking for a nice, creamy soft wax that’s easy to work with, smells great, and is gentle on the skin, this one is definitely worth trying.

Nice Soft Wax with a Convenient Screw-Top Jar
I wanted to try this soft wax on the finer, less coarse hair on my body, so I tested it on a small section of my leg. Since I didn’t have any actual waxing strips on hand, I made a few from an old cotton T-shirt just so I could see how the wax performed.Even using my homemade strips, the wax removed the hair successfully. I do think using proper waxing strips would have made the process smoother and likely removed the wax more easily, but for a quick test I was pleased with the results.One thing I didn’t realize before ordering is that this product is intended to be paired with the brand’s wax warmer after it’s heated in the microwave. My previous waxes all came in metal tins that could sit directly in my current warmer to maintain the right consistency throughout use. Since this jar is plastic, I wasn’t able to do that because I didn’t want to risk damaging it. As a result, I only evaluated it using the microwave for heating. I may eventually transfer the wax into one of my reusable metal wax tins or a silicone wax cup so I can continue using it with my existing warmer. I also thought about pouring the melted wax into my wax cup a bit at a time just to use it with my current warmer.One feature I really appreciate is the container. Unlike the hard wax version, this jar has a screw-on lid that closes securely after use. That makes it easy to store without worrying about dust or anything else getting into the wax between sessions.Based on my experience, this worked well for removing finer body hair. With proper waxing strips and a way to keep the wax consistently warm, I think it would be even easier to use.

I have never home waxed before so I wasn’t sure what I was getting into. But boy was this a good experience. It warmed quickly, and the sweet strawberry scent is so pleasant. It kind of makes you forget that you’re about to rip hair out of your own face or hoo-ha like a savage. It spreads so silky smooth and feels soft on the skin. But it packs a punch when you apply the strips to it and go for the big RIP! Only 3-4 strays left behind which came back out when going back over it with the same strip. I’ve been paying so much money for salon waxing when I could have been doing this at home. After trying this I explored the brand more, and it’s obviously got a fantastic reputation. I’ll be a repeat customer! And you get so much in one jar! For less than the cost of a salon wax. YES!

Microwaves easy follow directions on bottle. was easy to use in my warmer as well fit nicely into it. applied with Wood wax sticks and went smoothly on and used wax paper. Can use wax in same spot over. It is a gentle formula that you can use on reddened or irritated skin. Can be used large areas such as for full body waxing. has a great smell infused with strawberry hints making it more pleasant. Wax is made without rosin and enriched with titanium dioxide to help minimize reactivity during waxing, for a lower-irritation waxing experience.
