Not as Easy as It Looks
I spent an evening trying out this magnet set with a few cat eye gel polishes, and it was fun experimenting with the different shapes. I liked having several magnets in one kit because it gave me more design options without buying extra tools.What held it back for me was how much trial and error it took. Some magnets gave a nice pattern, while others didn’t seem as strong, so the results weren’t very consistent. I had to keep adjusting the angle and distance before I got a design that looked right. The heart and flower effects looked good once everything lined up, but getting there took longer than I expected. It’s an okay set for the price, though I thought it would be a little easier to get clean results.

This set has made cat eye gel designs so much more approachable at home. The 3-in-1 design is a great concept since I don’t have to keep switching tools between different effect styles. The ball magnet, French guide, and the shaped magnets (heart, flower, black hole) all work smoothly together.The magnetic pull is genuinely strong, which matters a lot for getting a crisp, defined cat eye effect. Weaker magnets I’ve tried in the past give a muddy, unclear pattern, but this set consistently pulls the pigment into clean lines and shapes.The heart and flower shapes came out especially well defined, with sharp, recognizable outlines rather than a vague smudge. The black hole effect was probably my favorite, giving a nice dimensional look that’s hard to get with a basic single magnet.The French guide magnet is a nice bonus for a classic look when I don’t want a full cat eye effect on every nail, and it gave clean, even lines without much practice needed.Build quality feels sturdy for the price. Cool set but hard to work with. Only the flower one worked well for me.
The magnets seem to be well made, but I found the green one difficult to work with. The heart shape was hard to see, and I think it’s because the piece is a little too thick to work with, since most cat eye heart tutorials I’ve seen used wires tethered to a magnet. The rectangle magnets do produce a slanted line, but I couldn’t get it to do a grid like shown in the photo. The only magnet that worked for me right away was the flower one, which did look really cool. The x one is good for nail tips, but honestly I’ve seen people use nail scissors connected to a magnet to achieve the same effect, so I don’t think it’s really necessary. But it is a pretty cool set and I’m glad I found it.

Great kit for many nail designs
This kit comes with so many different magnets/tools to do many different styles. The heart is a bit large but I was able to get a decent print on my thumb but need darker magnetic nail polish for it to be clearer. My daughter was able to use the flower magnet and get some cute designs on her nails. I do like that the kit comes in a case to keep it all together but I wish there was a tutorial/instruction on how to use some of the attachments. I don’t know how to use the scissor looking magnet so I’ll need to look that up myself.

Very nice set of magnet tools!
I’ve had magnetic gel polish for a long time and never bothered using it because the basic rectangular magnet that came with it had an anticlimactic result. This set has so many different tools to achieve many effects! The tools all feel like great quality, so I believe they’ll last a long time. Now that I have this magnet tool set, I’ll have to get some more magnetic gel polish! I can’t wait to try all the magnets!
