good stuff herefor those of you who are similar to me…hate waste…and hate ‘shipping water’ – when I started thinking about the world – and making my own DIY cleaners…I soon learned that most stuff that is water based liquid and a majority of the good stuff was relatively low vs the stuff that comes out the faucet…like 90-95% ‘just water’ and the realization that things are shipped by weight and costs based on how heavy – so my thoughts were: why not just send the good stuff and allow us to mix in the water…sometimes that’s easier said than done (like with emulsified things) – but often it’s just ‘a few base chems’ and quantize with water – a fancy word for ‘the rest is just water’ – granted we’ve always had RO water instead of tap water – and some stuff does ‘need’ (debatable) ionized or distilled but RO water always seemed just as goodthis stuff is actually ‘the good stuff’ :)dilution ratios of 50:1…4 squirts of the sprayer tho – my guess is it doesn’t spit out what is minimally needed but like toothpaste commercials showing TONS of paste on the brush – it’s a very little amount that is needed…but still the instructions say 4 spray pumps and add more water – and I’m not going to count how many refills I got out of the bottlelike another reviewer indicated mine also leaked – I know not how much – because my bottle still appears mostly full – but the sticker is saturated in it and the outsides were gooey

Really effective in removing caked on crud
I have older Norelco 5000 series shaver, which is not compatible with cleaning pods. I was thinking about buying a new Norelco 6000 or 7000 series shaver. And I was debating if I should get the cleaning pod. Even when new models are compatible, they don’t always come with cleaning pod.Well, I got the Clark concentrated shaver cleaning solution to test it out on my old Norelco 5000 series shaver. It is model S5675 from Costco. The shaver is around 7 years old. I rinse it with water after every shave. And every week, I will soak it in hot water. I never used solution to clean the shaver.Most of time I shave dry. But sometimes I use shaving foam. There is white layer of something on parts of the shaver. Not sure if those are dead skin, oil, alcohol, shaving foam, etc. They do not rinse or wash off with water.I mixed 4 squirts of Clark cleaning concentrate with in a small cup of water. The concentrate is quite thick. It will not diffuse in the water. I need to manually agitate the water with a stick to mix the concentrate.Placed my shaver in the solution. Turn on the shaver. Let it run for a minute or so. Wow, it is effective on removing the white crud on the shaver. I had to do this multiple times to remove most of the white crud on the shaver. The solution is quite effective.I took 1-star off due to 2 issues.One is that this Cool Breeze Scent has a chemical smell. It is not pleasant. More like clinical or hospital smell. After dipping my shaver in the solution, my shaver also smells. Even after rinsing and soaking in hot water, the smell did not go away. And after I use the shaver, there is smell on my face.I don’t have experience with Norelco’s cleaning pod solution. So I don’t know what that smells like, or if that smell lingers on the shaver.The other issue is that the product is not sealed. It comes in a bottle. There is no wrapping or seal on the bottle top or opening. And not enclosed in sealed box.

Honestly they need to do a better job explaining what is this used for and how to use it. Very unclear instruction. I tried using this on my shaver and I could not notice much difference.

This is a good alternative to buy the factory cleaner. Works just as well, it’s concentrated.

It makes so much more sense than buying overpriced refills that are 98% water.Be sure to replace the cleaning liquid regularly. I’d say at least once a month. If you don’t, it develops slimy residue that’s a pain to get out of the container.
